Work Environment
Information Professionals serve in challenging roles of increasing scope and responsibility both afloat and ashore. This could include:

Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Postgraduate education is important to the success of the Information Professional. Most IPs will complete a master's degree in C4I, space, information systems, computer science or modeling and simulation.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.
All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.

Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.
Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve serve in an Officer role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with this job, initial training requirements must first be met.
For current or former Navy Officers (NAVET): Prior experience satisfies the initial leadership training requirement - so you will not need to go through Officer Training again.
Officers who previously held a commission in another United States Military Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Public Health Service, or United States Coast Guard are exempt from attending ODS or LDO/CWO Academy.

The HRIS Analyst provides day-to-day operational and project support for the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and partners closely with HR subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, system optimization, reporting accuracy, and process improvement. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRIS-related upgrades and initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support HRIS implementation projects and programs across all functional areas, including compensation, benefits, onboarding, recruitment, time and attendance, applicant tracking, performance management, training, and change management

Seeking an AI/ML Operations professional for the following role -
Overall Responsibilities
- Manage operational workflows for model deployments, updates, and versioning across GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Monitor model performance metrics: latency, throughput, error rates, token usage, and inference quality
- Track model drift, accuracy degradation, and performance anomalies - escalating to engineering as needed.
- Support knowledge base operations including vector embedding pipeline health, chunk quality, and refresh cycles in Vertex AI.
- Maintain model inventory and documentation across multi-cloud environments.
- Coordinate model evaluation cycles with Responsible AI and Core Engineering teams
Agent & MCP Server Operations
- Monitor AI agent health, performance, and reliability (AutoGen-based agents, MCP servers)
- Track agent execution metrics: task completion rates, tool call success/failure, latency, and error patterns
- Support agent deployment and configuration management workflows
- Document agent behaviors, known issues, and operational runbooks
- Coordinate with Core Engineering on agent updates, testing, and rollouts
- Monitor MCP server availability, connection health, and integration status
FinOps & Cost Management
- Track and analyze AI/ML cloud spend across GCP (Vertex AI), Azure (OpenAI), and AWS (Bedrock)
- Build cost dashboards with breakdowns by model, application team, use case, and environment.
- Monitor token consumption, inference costs, and embedding/storage costs.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities - model selection, caching, batching, rightsizing.

Monitoring, Dashboarding & Reporting

- Develop Responsible AI dashboards tracking hallucination rates, accuracy metrics, guardrail triggers, and safety incidents.

Release Operations Support
- Support release management processes with pre/post-deployment validation checks.
- Track release health metrics for models, agents, and platform components.

AI Operations
- Monitor guardrail effectiveness and flag anomalies to the Responsible AI team.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Basic Qualifications
- 2-4 years in an Ops, Analytics, or Technical Operations role (MLOps, AIOps, DataOps, Platform Ops, or similar)
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts: models, inference, embeddings, vector databases, LLMs, tokens, prompts.
- Experience with cloud cost management and FinOps - tracking, analyzing, and optimizing cloud spend.
- Strong proficiency with dashboarding and visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Grafana, or similar)
- Working knowledge of GCP (required); familiarity with Azure and AWS a plus.
- Comfortable with SQL and basic Python for data analysis and scripting.

Support month end and week soft closing activities including validating actuals, revenue recognition, cost and fee ceilings, and profit bookings.
Analyze Estimate at Completion (EAC) and for impact to financials.
Analyze Strategic Growth Plan (SGP) program forecasts and ensure business area outlook aligns with the long-term growth strategy.
Analyze Contract Terms and Conditions for impact to revenue recognition and ability to execute within financial processes.
Monitor overhead budgets and analyze labor utilization.
Prepare monthly forecasts outlooks for Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, Working Capital and Discretionary Spending.
Participate in customer meetings as required.
Lead special projects as required.
Responsible for consolidating and analyzing program forecasts to develop the short-term forecast (STF).
Prepare meaningful variance analysis of actual versus forecast financial performance and trend analysis.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and develop robust, scalable,
and user-friendly software solutions for a novel medical imaging device. The job responsibilities cover
development of software modules for real-time data and image acquisition, design and development of
software APIs, and interface with various hardware components.
As the person in this role, you will need to have intimate knowledge of working with various hardware
modules. You will be at the forefront working on interfacing with key hardware modules within the
organization. We are started everything last year from scratch β this role is for someone who wants to
make a real difference developing the worldβs best ophthalmic platform. You need to be a self-starter,
comfortable with a fast-paced workplace, able to achieve goals within a high-level of ambiguity, work
across functional lines, and take a hands-on approach to explore and find optimal solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and implement software modules for a medical ophthalmic device
β’ Design and develop interface libraries for a custom 10 Gig Ethernet hardware module
β’ Implement software modules communicating through RS-232 and other communication
protocols
β’ Implement hardware logging and debugging features
β’ Develop and implement workflows for instrument calibration tools
β’ Create software libraries and modules to work on the devicce
β’ Software analysis, planning, design, implementation, and verification of a novel medical device
β’ Develop software modules and components that meet the software requirements and design
inputs
β’ Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
β’ Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
β’ Co-ordinates and provides input to other developers on interfaces
β’ Produce high quality testable code according to design specifications
β’ Document software design specifications, implementation details, and test plans
β’ Identify and prioritize new software features and applications in conjunction with project
stakeholders
β’ Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define software requirements,
architecture, and software interfaces
β’ Participate in code peer reviews with the development team to ensure a high-level of quality is
maintained
β’ Contribute to product requirement development and risk management reviews
β’ Troubleshoot and debug software issues throughout the development process
β’ Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software
development
Qualifications and Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
β’ 3+ years of experience in streaming imaging pipeline software architecture and development
β’ Strong programming skills using C/C++
β’ Strong programming skills with multi-threading and synchronization objects
β’ Proficiency with network communication protocols
β’ Experience with synchronous and asynchronous serial communication technologies
β’ Strong debugging and problem solving skills in complex environments
β’ Proven analytical skills across hardware/software boundaries
β’ Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented principles
β’ Experience with Git
β’ Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals (analog/digital interfaces, timing, etc) is a
plus
β’ Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
β’ Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards is a plus
