This opportunity is with an Interventional Pain Medicine specialty practice, located in PG County near Temple Hills / Clinton communities. The practice wishes to hire a Physician Assistant, preferably someone with 0-3 years of experience. This practice will spend a lot of time teaching pain medicine to the right PA applicant, and in their experience hiring someone closer to their college learning years, makes for an easier learning curve.

Here the focus is on helping patients with musculoskeletal pain. The practice is reputable and well-established. You will be working with a Double Board Certified physician. The support staff is efficient, professional, and supportive.

They offer a great training program.

This practice will train you to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and do Trigger Point Injections, Joint Injections, Prescribe DME, and to read MRI's to diagnose spine conditions. The physician does all of the spine procedures. There will be opioid prescribing too, and you are to follow the CDC prescribing guidelines. They can teach you this too.

The ideal candidate will have:

* MUST HAVE a Maryland Physician Assistant License* 0-3 years of experience desired* CDS and DEA Registration

The work schedule:* Monday - Friday.* No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays

Compensation for a pain medicine experienced provider can easily be more than $150,000. The starting salary here will be in the $115K to $135K range + a bonus opportunity + a full compliment of benefits. ($20K bonus potential)****** And of course if you have pain medicine experience, the compensation is negotiable.
