Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-driven Air & Ocean Import Customs Entry Writer to manage the accurate and timely preparation of U.S. customs entries for international shipments. Key Responsibilities

Customs Entry Processing

  • Prepare and transmit customs entries for air and ocean imports
  • Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Classify goods using HTSUS and determine applicable duties, taxes, and fees
  • Ensure timely clearance to avoid storage, demurrage, or exam delays


Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with CBP regulations and partner government agencies (PGA) requirements

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with import coordinators, freight forwarders, and customers to gather required documentation

  • Enter and manage entry data, notes, and milestones in NetCHB
