We are hiring an experienced Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant !
Hot Locum Contract In Montana! First Assisting experience required. Full time availability starting end of August/Start of September!
Looking for an experienced Thoracic PA or NP to assist on a team of 4 CTS PA's. Duties include assist in the OR, endo vein and endo radial a plus or floor assignment for discharge etc. each day. Provider would be assisting clinic staff with patient call in questions as needed. No clinic patients scheduled for the APP- only OR and hospital floor coverage.
4/10 hr shifts per week plus potential need for call, 1 in 4. Call would be 5p-7a, if necessary. Weekends are rounds/discharges so not always 10 hr shifts and emergent surgeries.
Our locums are treated like a family member! $110-130 per hour, plus 1.5 X overtime over 40 hours, premium on call pay, paid housing and travel, Virtual Credit Cards-Autonomy to chose housing, Top Rated Paid Mal Practice and Personal Attention to every last need!

Requirements:
- Active Montana license or IMLC/compact license
- Board certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1-year Urology experience
Travel Benefits:
If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.

Job Responsibilities (Generalized):
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Education Requirements:
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics)
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Montana
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Montana
- National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP])
Experience:
- While specific requirements may vary, most locum PA and NP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
