The Iris Cantor-UCLA Women's Health Center is recognized internationally as a center of excellence that integrates research and education with high-quality primary care specifically tailored for women. The Research Director will lead and oversee the research mission of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Center, integrating their funded program of research with opportunities supported by the Center. Additionally, the Research Director will co-chair the scientific committee of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Center, evaluating proposals for pilot research funding from faculty and advanced trainees in basic science and clinical departments to determine awards in collaboration with the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Finally, the Research Director will select junior faculty, post-graduate trainees, and medical students for career development and scientific mentorship and collaborate on the Center’s development activities.
The ideal candidate is a distinguished academic physician or researcher, with an exceptional record of achievement in advancing foundational scientific knowledge of women’s health. Primary Responsibilities:
- Full oversight of the specialty sale to achieve health plan market sales goals and maintain profitability
- Advocate for specialty voluntary products to support increase in enrollment and size of sale and negotiate based on broker/customer feedback with underwriting; leveraging rate bank, product discount programs and packaged savings to leverage the best value to the customer

- Work collaboratively with AE/RAC/SAE to support sales, product and process education, and training on employer paid and voluntary specialty products. This position works collaboratively with Generalist AE on external sales calls representing ancillary product offerings
- Conduct for communication on specialty topics including marketing initiatives that AE/RAC/SAE should be promoting (i.e. product updates, bonus programs, rate cards, drip marketing, etc)
- Educates sales support on quoting plan designs & product pre-implementation
- Develop business relationships with AE/RAC/SAE as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in order to increase specialty sales
- Assisting AE/RAC/SAE in developing sales proposals, including anticipating competing products and distinguishing UHC's products from those competing products

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, a Los Angeles County facility and major teaching hospital for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is recruiting both a full-time and a part-time OBGYN generalist/hospitalist to deliver compassionate quality care for our patients. This OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist Physician will:

The pediatric inpatient unit has been newly redesigned to be a state-of-the-art general pediatrics and mixed subspecialty inpatient space with 26 beds, in addition to current pediatric intensive care beds and neonatal intensive care beds.
Our compensation philosophy: We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians.
The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.
This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
Pay Range: $398,254 – 551,690 Total Cash Compensation.
