Job Responsibilities

• Cut meat to be sold to customers by taking the product out of the cooler and cutting meat into smaller sizes to be packaged for sale.
• Service guests by answering questions and/or filling special orders.
• Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customers safety.
• Wrap and maintain meat case.
• Provide products and services that meet the requirements of internal and external customers at all times, and abide by the Company's Guiding Principles, Common Purposes, and Service Credo's.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work, for our Team Members, guests, and products.
• Become familiar with products in the store to answer questions and make suggestions to customers.
• Utilize knowledge of code dating.
• Cultivate a foodie culture by sharing excitement and passion for food with Team Members and guests.
• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the Team Member's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
• Make ground meat by putting course ground into the grinder then traying meat.
• Inspire your fellow Team Members and our guests with a passion for food and a willingness to go the Extra Mile to provide the best product.
• Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Provide active sampling opportunities, when appropriate.
• Unload deliveries by checking in truck.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor, etc. to ensure that safety and sanitation regulations are met.
• Accurately record and assist in preparation of special orders to ensure the customer is delighted with the finished product.
• Assist in maintaining meat cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Follow proper procedures to ensure store meets out-of-stock percentage goals.

About Us

This is a community-based Enrollment Specialist for our Pennsylvania Self Directed Program. The Enrollment Specialist will educate participants and their direct care workers on how to successfully enroll and utilize services under the Community HealthChoices Participant-Directed Services Program.

• $21 an hour
• 35 hours a week full time
• Monday - Friday
• 8:30am to 4:30pm

Essential Job Functions

• Accept and outreach to participant within 3 days of referral to determine how the packet will be delivered to the participant: mail, email or in person
• Provide in-person participant orientation within 15 days of referral
• Train participants and direct care workers the skills needed to enroll and manage this self-directed program

Qualifications

• One year experience providing services for persons with disabilities
• Experience or education in teaching is helpful
• Knowledge of community resource that participants are involved with
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook and the ability to navigate databases

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; GED or High School Diploma required

Position Summary:

Health & Fitness is a 38,000 sq. ft. facility (private club) with 550 members. A beautiful and well-maintained facility in downtown Pittsburgh, catering to executive level business clientele, who are accustomed to personal service delivered at 100% satisfaction. The club features 2 squash courts, massage rooms, Pilates, indoor cycling studio, exercise studio, golf simulator, a barber shop, a dining room and three administrative offices.

At the Duquesne Club, you will work alongside a passionate team of professionals. This position acts as the assistant manager for Health and Fitness. Assisting the Director in maintaining the high standards of service, programming, safety and cleanliness of the Club. Manage and trains staff in a variety of roles—exercise technicians/specialists, locker room attendants, laundry attendants, barber, and front desk personnel. One will build a rapport and be the liaison with the Independent Contractors--personal trainers, massage therapists, Pilates instructors and class instructors. One will also assist the Club in attracting new members and the retention of existing members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist and oversee daily operations of fitness center and its various outlets/programming.

· Responsible for overseeing all staff and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.

· Assist in all areas of General Administration as determined by manager (relief work, vacation, sick time, emergencies, etc.)

· Be accessible and visible to membership.

· Respond to emergencies. Learn procedures to assist with medical and building emergencies, i.e., fire, security, etc.

· Responsible for recruiting, coordinating the schedules of Independent Contractors for group exercise instructors and other services, i.e., massage therapist, nutritionist, etc.

· Inventory supplies and order as needed.

· Works together with Director of Communications to provide information to Members.

· Keeps members informed and engaged by decorating bulletin boards with fitness related information, recipes, tips, etc.

· Instruct a weekly class for the members.

· Assist in planning of members’ activities inside and outside of the club.

· Conduct tours to perspective members, etc.

· Attend educational programs related to fitness.

· Perform the responsibilities of the Director of Health and Fitness in their absence.

· Be knowledgeable of Club rules, by laws and general operations to handle member inquiries and enforce accordingly.

· Be knowledgeable of the building, dining rooms, corporate suites, facilities, etc. so that accurate directions may be given.

· Be knowledgeable of the Duquesne Club’s location and its surrounding areas should anyone ask for directions or information regarding the city’s transportation systems, current and daily event happenings, i.e., sporting, social functions, etc.

· Bring issues that arise to the attention of Management. Complete administrative paperwork necessary and forward to Supervisor.

· Observe grooming and personal hygiene standards, rules of conduct, policies and procedures established for the Duquesne Club.

· Attends Club meetings/trainings as assigned.

· Ensures that all safety, emergency procedures, OSHA standards, worker’s comp procedures are practiced. Reporting any hazards or injuries to their supervisor or human resources.

· Must be respectful of other employees and help out when requested. Team work is important, together everyone achieves more.

· May be required to perform any related duty as requested by management.

Requirements:

· A strong fundamental knowledge of Exercise Science.

· Physical strength and capability to lift 30 pounds as well as physical strength to pull/push equipment as needed.

· Physical ability to stand/walk for entire shift, as well as bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach.

· Ability to withstand various degrees of temperature during your shift.

· Ability to learn Club rules regarding members and guest privileges while being courteous and tactful when enforcing them.

· Ability to actively listen to others and responds verbally to their request in a professional, effective and tactful manner.

· Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally.

· Sufficient memory retention to recall members & guests names and preferences.

SEC and PCAOB

• Applies knowledge and understanding of SEC regulations and PCAOB guidelines, and documents and communicates the application of these principles.
• Reads and reviews clients' SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and also ensuring all financial information is supported in the workpapers and appropriately tested
• Prepares required communications to the Client and the Audit Committee
• Plans and executes Section 404 internal control audit including obtaining an understanding of the control environment, designing test plans, evaluating deficiencies, and assessing the overall financial reporting control environment.

GAAS

• Applies knowledge and understanding of professional standards; application of the principles contained in professional standards; and the ability to document and communicate an understanding and application of professional standards on an engagement.
• Formulates and communicates the audit plan
• Applies GAAS to a variety of complex issues and consults others as appropriate
• Applies of audit skepticism and determines when to reduce or expand testing
• Uses BDO audit manuals as appropriate for the situation
• Documents deviations from BDO policy with approval
• Look for opportunities to suggest improvement to company's internal controls and prepare draft communication required by professional standards.

Methodology

• Applies knowledge and application of BDO standards that guide effective and efficient delivery of quality services and products.
• Applies BDO audit approach and methodologies, including tools and technology, to execute the audit with quality, efficiency, and completeness despite pressures of deadlines
• Identifies and proposes outcomes to critical issues

Research

• Applies methodology used to seek or maintain information from authoritative sources and to draw conclusions regarding a target issue based on that information.
• Applies knowledge of the use of internal and external research tools and selects methodology for routine research requests
• Researches more complex areas of accounting and forms an initial opinion on the correct treatment independently and considers and documents the impact on the client and audit engagement
• Documents and organizes complicated findings in a usable format, based on information obtained from Accounting Research Manager, BDO Assurance Manual, Yahoo Finance, etc.
• Assist the engagement manager with gathering sufficient appropriate information about the business and information system, including the accounting system, to form an adequate basis for the preparation of the audit strategy

Project Management

• Coordinate timing of planning, fieldwork, and review with audit team and client and assist engagement executives in developing the audit engagement budget and identify appropriate resources.
• Develop the draft Audit Engagement Planning Memorandum, audit programs and budgets
• Establish with the engagement manager the responsibilities of individual audit staff for specific areas of audit work
• Monitor and report engagement budget to actual and advise engagement executives of possible overruns

Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of audit professionals ranging in size from 1 to 5
• Provide verbal and written performance feedback to associates
• Teach/coach associates to provide on the job learning

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred

Experience:

• Three (3) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
• Prior basic supervisory experience, preferred

License/Certifications:

• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required, and actively pursuing completion of the exams, required
• CPA, preferred

Software:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
• Experience with assurance applications and research tools, preferred

Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for cost accounting activities with an emphasis on inventory management and cost analysis. This role includes preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting, as well as supporting FP&A activities such as budgeting and forecasting. While fixed asset accounting (currently in FAS, transitioning to SAP) is part of the role, it represents a smaller portion of responsibilities. The position also involves quarterly SOX compliance tasks, ad hoc projects, and additional recurring responsibilities as time permits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and analyze inventory cost records and ensure accuracy of cost accounting processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory and costing activities.
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
• Prepare various monthly inventory and costing reports.
• Perform job costing reporting and analysis, including weekly job closings and variance analysis.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories at all sites and support year-end inventory standards revision.
• Support cycle count processes by monitoring variances, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Perform quarterly LIFO and obsolete/slow-moving inventory reporting and analysis.
• Support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to inventory and costing.
• Perform quarterly SOX compliance activities, including documentation, testing, and reporting for relevant controls.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations in FAS (transitioning to SAP).
• Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support for additional recurring responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles; familiarity with fixed asset accounting a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (FAS and SAP preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with FP&A processes and financial modeling.
