Our Express Will Call Counter is where customers pick up orders that have been placed ahead of time. We guarantee that if a customer calls in an order, we will have it ready for pick-up in less than 30 minutes. Will Call associates at Famous Supply are responsible for ensuring those orders are fulfilled and ready for pick-up in a timely manner.

Note: Famous Supply warehouse associates will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
  • Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately

Day to Day Responsibilities: Oversee full cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close > AP, AR, Payroll, GL Manage and train accounting department Manage cash flow, ensuring organizational needs are met Oversee purchasing and payroll activities Work with CEO to ensure contracts and pricing meet company standards Drafting and management of operational and project budgets and forecasts Financial reporting including balance sheet, operating costs, etc Maintain accounting and documentations systems

What you'll do:

  • Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives
  • Help your account executive solve customer needs, find carriers for time-sensitive freight and manage daily operations
  • Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions
  • Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling
  • Build your book
  • Use your training to meet sales metrics and become eligible for commission
  • Establish relationships to close new customers
  • Negotiate prices with customers and carriers
  • Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery
