Position Summary

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Vice President of Human Capital and Leadership Development is a key executive leader responsible for the strategic direction of HACA's people operations. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (master’s preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in progressive HR leadership, with 5+ years in a senior executive role.

• Certification: SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.

• Technical Skills: Success in implementing/utilizing UKG or similar HRIS; working knowledge of Microsoft 360 and AI tools.

Applicants must possess degrees in a Geology, Earth Science, or related field.

Pay is 70-90k dependent on experience and qualifications. Initial benefits package includes paid dental, vision, health, and life insurance. This position is a hybrid position. Applicants must be able to be at jobsites and/or offices in the Austin and San Antonio area for fieldwork, meetings, training, and other duties. This job requires fieldwork 1-5 days a week. Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and substation projects. This role functions as the overall project leader with full accountability for safety, schedule, budget, contract compliance, and construction quality.

This is an office-based role located in one of several major U.S. offices, with a hybrid in-office requirement (minimum three days per week). Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates. While not site-based, the role requires travel to project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Manage overall project design in coordination with internal and external engineering resources
• Develop and manage the project execution plan, including kickoff and closeout meetings
• Oversee EPC contractor scheduling and support schedule recovery planning when required

• Ensure daily safety planning documentation is prepared and followed

Safety Leadership

• Own project budget, forecasting, procurement oversight, and cost-to-complete projections
• Monitor financial performance and material management

Contract Management

• Ensure EPC compliance with contractual obligations

• Maintain documentation of contractual obligations and variances
• Ensure flow-down of contract terms to subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
