We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to join a team leading large-scale data center projects from design through final handover across North America. This role is critical in ensuring that mission-critical systems are installed, integrated, and functioning according to client requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, controls, and specialty systems in large-scale or hyperscale data centers.
Role, Responsibilities, and Objectives
The responsibilities include:
• Plan and manage all commissioning activities by developing commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Define commissioning scope, deliverables, and execution strategy across all project phases, from design to final handover.
• Provide commissioning support during the design phase by reviewing technical documents and contributing to testing and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

- + Serve as Project Manager for municipal water and wastewater projects, overseeing all phases from preliminary studies to design and construction + Coordinate with clients on project scope, schedules, and proposals while building long-term relationships + Direct and mentor technicians and drafting personnel, ensuring timely and accurate project deliverables + Review design plans and specifications to ensure compliance with local and state regulations + Conduct technical studies, feasibility analyses, and prepare detailed reports + Stay current with industry practices and implement innovative solutions to meet client needs Qualifications

in Civil Engineering or related field + Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required (Texas PE preferred) + 10 or more years of experience in municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems (preferred) + Strong technical and design background in the water/wastewater industry + Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience in AutoCAD, GIS, or modeling software is desirable + Demonstrated project management skills with ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations + Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive under deadlines Interested in hearing more?
