Quality Specialist Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations, through regular audits and process oversight.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Help manage nonconforming materials and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Train manufacturing and quality personnel on proper procedures and quality tools.
Quality Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within medical device or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA/QSR regulations.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, Excel, Word, and Minitab.

Job Summary:
Greenwood is seeking a strategic leader to build out Talent Acquisition team to drive our recruitment efforts for executive, corporate, and field positions. As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead the overall recruitment strategy and execution for our corporate and field recruiting function. This role will support the organization, ensuring we attract and retain top talent across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver recruiting programs designed to bring top talent to Greenwood Industries and its partner companies through indirect and direct recruiting methods.
- Manage a dynamic requisition load of approximately 10 open roles at any given time.
- Alignment with Greenwood Executives to gain a detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs.
- Provide strategic recruiting expertise by staying informed of recruiting trends, best practices, social media, recruitment tools, legal developments, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons.
- Educate hiring managers on recruitment best practices and procedures to drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with both government requirements for federal contractors and internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure a solid process of providing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified talent and a smooth interview and hiring process with the candidate’s experience in mind.
- Provide oversight and direction for all Talent Acquisition operations and compliance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports the company's strategic objectives, focusing on executive, corporate, and field staff.
- Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging best practices in talent acquisition to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Metrics & Reporting: Develop and analyze key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and drive data-informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
- 5-8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills are essential.
- Experience in all areas of sourcing such as social media, networking, employee referrals, job posting, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The EHS Administrator will work mainly with the Environmental, Health and Safety team on ongoing projects, while spending time supporting other functional areas on miscellaneous administrative tasks.
- The person in this role will get hands-on experience working in a Manufacturing environment, while providing support for ongoing process improvement.
- This is an opportunity for an individual to get exposure and familiar with various departments and activities which have a worldwide presence.
The main functions of the role include:
- Maintain compliance standards by updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS), procedures and process documents as required.
- Document all safety and environmental incidents as they are sent in, following through with recording corrective actions taken.
- Timely data entry on any and all Safety Risk Assessments that are completed by the teams.
- Working with plant supervision to perform Toxic Risk Assessment based on active Chemical inventory.
- Miscellaneous forms of data entry to keep policy, procedure and data up to date.
- Assisting EHS team in event planning, setup, and breakdown.
- Providing support with filing, photocopying, recordkeeping and organizing information
- Working with EHS to schedule appointments for Employees at Occupational Health Vendor of choice. This could include Hearing tests, Surveillance Physicals, Workers' Comp, etc.
- Organization of "Swag” Inventory (T-shirts, Storage Closets, Filing).
- Utilizing their educational background and communication skills, students will gain the opportunity to work with all departments to resolve issues and step in to assist where needed.
- Management of Training Gaps for the facility. Maintaining databases to record gaps closed and assist in holding management accountable to closing area gaps to help create a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree Business or related field of study, or currently in a program to complete degree.
- 2+ years Administrative Experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Competent in technical capacity, collaboration and credibility.
- Strong computer skills. Microsoft Suite of product experience including, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint knowledge required.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills in order to assist internal, external, and potential partners. They must be able to operate well in a team environment to sustain ongoing relationships with colleagues.
