PALLIATIVE MEDICINE PHYSICIAN (3-309-1312) – The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking an academic palliative medicine physician for our expanding program. Clinical duties will include both inpatient activities as well as development of an outpatient program. Protected time for teaching and research is offered.
The Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine resides in the Department of Medicine and is comprised of a team of 5.5 MDs, an NP, an RN manager, dedicated Clinical Pharmacist, Chaplain, and Social Worker, in addition to full-time Program Support and a Business Administrator. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership : Oversee and grow a program of HPB surgery and disease management providing services across MedStar Health institutions in the Baltimore region.
