Description
This is a full-time role for a Litigation Legal Assistant in San Jose, CA, with potential flexibility of part-time or remote work. The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys by managing legal document preparation, assisting in legal and administrative tasks, maintaining case files, coordinating calendars, and ensuring timely and efficient case management. Additional responsibilities include scheduling appointments, communicating with clients, and providing overall support for litigation processes.
- Provide litigation support and assistance to attorneys.
- Maintain attorney calendars through Outlook and the firm's scheduling software (e.g. coordinating depositions, calendaring due dates, etc.).
- Proofread and format pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents, including preparation of Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities pursuant to applicable court requirements.
- File documents in state and federal courts (e.g., use of e-filing systems).
- Coordinate and/or process service of legal documents (electronic and traditional service) and prepare proofs of service as required.
- Maintain electronic case files for seamless integration with the firm's document retention and filing systems.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, depositions, mediations, interviews, or facility reservations as needed for assigned attorneys.
We Are Looking For Someone With...
- 2+ years of experience as a legal secretary/assistant.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and processes (e.g., discovery, filing requirements, litigation timelines, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and e-filing systems (federal and state courts), with familiarity with Document Management Systems (NetDocs (post-hire training available)).
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$105,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

This is a technical leadership role responsible for end-to-end EPS architecture, from solar array interfaces through regulation, storage, distribution, protection, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the detailed architecture of a high-voltage spacecraft power system.
- Define solar array regulation including S3R or MPPT, battery charge and discharge, bus regulation, and distribution strategies.
- Lead DC-DC converter topology selection and design, including protection schemes and derating strategy.
