As a System Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will work on a team with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, reporting to the system integration engineering manager. This is a small team of highly motivated people designing, testing, and flying advanced automated systems. We enjoy combining mechanical and electrical hardware and getting it onto an aircraft safely and quickly.

Responsibilities

In your role as a system integration engineer, you will get to own vehicle level projects through the planning, design, and testing phases of development. You will own a large breadth of projects from primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, hardware in the loop testing, ground station development, and integration with the software and human machine interface teams. You will be responsible for guiding the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects with significant ownership of which aircraft functions are the highest priority to be integrated and tested on vehicle.

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience

• 8+ Years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems

• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals

Drive profitable store sales by fostering a customer care culture through practicing and using effective retail sales skills utilizing the Total Customer Experience Model

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. In your role as Flight Software Engineer, you will develop highly deterministic C++ software in a bare metal environment that works with sensors & control systems, robustly handles system faults, and integrates with other vehicle subsystems. As a Lead Test Pilot you will have a senior leadership role within the flight operations team at Reliable Robotics. You will provide direction to the team, and be a leading voice to help guide the development of our safety enhancing technology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple engineering teams across the company to develop and execute flight test plans.

Responsibilities

In your role as Lead Test Pilot, your primary role will be to lead a team of highly motivated flight test pilots and engineers. You will also be responsible for developing and safely executing flight test plans in support of research and development efforts, and will fly the aircraft in both onboard and remote configurations. You will coordinate the training and scheduling of contract pilots, and help to ensure that all aspects of experimental flight operations are set up for safety and success. You will coordinate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to support standardization of pilot procedures across the organization. Throughout the development process, you will be instrumental in the execution of flight tests, data reviews, and proper operation of the system.

Basic Success Criteria

• FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours, including at least 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine

• Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)

• Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher

• 2+ years of experience in an aviation leadership role

Preferred Criteria

• Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school

• Recent Caravan or PT6A experience

In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from browser-based applications to real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. What can you expect to do?

Responsibilities:

• Conducts negotiations with bidders, for non-routine, may support or work with Sourcing.

• Coordinates and assembles supporting documentation to support audits.

• Works with vendors and internal stakeholders to assemble, review, prepare, and route for vendor and management approval (using ARIBA and EDRS), necessary documents for these tasks.

• Works with vendors, Project Team to improve quality of supporting contract documents to reduce rework required by others.

• May assist in the creation and development of purchase requisitions.

• For Routine Contracts, reviews vendor proposals to ensure that rates and terms are consistent with outline agreements.

• Ensures that Company standards are followed when executing contract documents.

• Tracks approval status of contracting documents from inception through approval and ensures that documents are routed expeditiously.

• For Routine Contracts, conducts negotiations with bidders, for non-routine, may support or work with Sourcing department.

• Reviews purchase orders and contracts as part of procurement approval process.

• Provides technical support and analysis in preparation of scope, cost, schedule, safety and environmental concerns pertinent to the contract specifications; and verify and process contract invoices.

What is needed to be successful in this role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
