- Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerqueβs Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.
- Responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed speech/language therapy treatment to individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps to assist in reaching optimal function within their physical limitations.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Job Requirements
- Masterβs Degree in Communicative Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (M.S.,CCC-SLP)
- Licensed Speech Pathologist in the State of NM
- CPR

Political Affairs Internship:
The role focuses on making poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy. This is a part-time 12-hours per week, 12 week, unpaid remote internship. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.

Responsibilities will include:
Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
Meeting with members of Congress/Government in your State/District/Constituency.
Representing The Borgen Project at various business, political and community events.
Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Mobilizing individuals to contact their members of Government in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.
Speaking to groups, classes and organizations.
Writing letters of support for key programs to political leaders, media and other groups.
Experience:
No prior experience is necessary, we're looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your GPAs/background.
Details:
This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available. The position can be worked remotely from any of the following countries: U.S., U.K., Canada, France or Australia.
Start Date:
New programs begin every month, you choose the month you wish to start.

Essential Day-to-day Job Responsibilities Include
- Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures;
- Supervising, Monitoring and implementing Instructor File Management
- Ensuring all new instructor onboarding paperwork is completed and electronically filed in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining active instructor quarterly file requirements to ensure there are zero past due instructor documents.
- Assisting with daily instructor check outs as needed to ensure all grades and attendance is posted.
- Assisting the Director of Education with instructor recruitment, and new instructor training.
- Conducting classroom observations on an on-going basis and formal observations quarterly.
- Monitoring campus level metrics related to completion/graduation rates, Re-Entries, Waivers and DIFs to meet the campus and organizational objective;
- Preparing, monitoring and updating classroom utilization to create effective class schedules and optimize class size for achieving an effective student learning experience;
- Monitoring, managing the student LOA/ITR process.
- Scheduling, facilitating and executing daily Save Our Student meetings with key education and career services personnel to achieve student retention objectives and externship retention management.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Associate Director of Educations performance is measured by the campus meeting its student retention, graduation/completion, and licensure rate.
Qualifications
Essential Experience, Education and Skillset
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year education management and administration experience.
- Minimum 3 year of instruction experience.
- Successful track record of effective teaching, curriculum development, and education administration.
- Above average user skills in computer and information technology (e.g. student database, social media, online educational resources).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and lead a team.
