- Perform physical examination and establish medical history to determine donor suitability

Job Requirements

Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification required.

Attributes:

-Work is performed both standing and sitting for up to 2 to 4 hours per day each.

-The position does require bending and twisting of neck up from 1 to 2 hours per day.

-Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

3. Administers medications and completes treatments per physician’s orders following the Pharmacy Policy and Procedure Manual.

4. Makes rounds, checking all residents. Completes nursing documentation on resident’s records (i.e. progress notes, flow sheets, monthly summaries, etc.).

5. Assigns additional duties to Resident Assistants (i.e. weekly supply orders and PRN, cleaning chores, etc.).

6. Assists with resident assessments, admissions, discharges, transfers and deaths.

7. Receives written, faxed and verbal orders per facility policy.

8. Maintains safety and infection control standards following the regulations of the State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Other Requirements

Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations

As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients, working onsite in their homes, including administering medications, performing wound care, and conducting patient assessments.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

  • Monitor patients' conditions and report changes.

  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication, and treatment options.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.

  • Report patient care and condition progress to patient's physician and Clinical Manager.

  • Oversee the work of Home Health Aides and monitor their appropriate completion of documentation.
