Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements, while maintaining a strong business partnering relationship with Procurement and other areas within the company ports. This role is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, managing vendor relationships, and leading a team of AP analysts and AP specialists to support the companys financial operations.   • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense reimbursements andmakes recommendations on hiring, performance appraisals, and all related employment issues.
  • Supervise and mentor AP staff, providing training, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and internal controls (AP-related) to ensure adherence to companypolicies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements and drivingprocess improvements through effective use of systems.

  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise, financial systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Education and Experience Qualifications


Required:

  • BS in Accounting
  • 5-7 years of experience, preferably in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with automated AP tools and workflow systems.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
