Job Summary:
To operate the cash register efficiently and courteously in a manner that conforms to company policies and procedures. Applicants for this position should be 18 years and older due to the sales of cigarettes. Open availability is needed for this position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow company policy on cash drops and filling out the proper paperwork.
- Help out in other areas in the gas booth besides the cash register area, this includes but not limited to the following:
- Filling the cigarette racks and displays.
- Emptying trash inside and outside of store.
- Maintaining neat and clean appearance by the gas pumps which includes washing pumps, filling washer fluid, and filling the towels.
- Maintain the general appearance of the gas station, which includes but not limited to cleaning outside the gas booth, around the pumps, keeping windows and doors cleaned.
- Provide first class customer service at all times.
- Abiding by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Supplemental Job Functions:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must have dexterity in both hands to be able to scan properly.
- Must have strong communication skills to ensure proper customer service.
- Strong mathematical skills required.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds up to 40% of the time.
