About the Role
CFS North America is seeking a proactive, organized, and high-energy Marketing Specialist to join our growing North America team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with several years of experience who enjoys building systems, managing complex projects, and driving marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
The Marketing Specialist will serve as the internal champion for our CRM platform (HubSpot), helping strengthen how we manage customer relationships, track marketing performance, and support the commercial sales team. What You’ll Do:
1. HubSpot CRM Champion
- Serve as the internal champion and primary administrator for HubSpot.
- Support the adoption and effective use of CRM tools across marketing and sales teams.
- Maintain data integrity, manage workflows, and support reporting dashboards
- Help improve lead management, campaign tracking, and customer engagement processes.
2. Campaign & Project Management
- Coordinate and execute the development and execution of integrated campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and events.
- Track campaign performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Own timelines and budgets for assigned marketing initiatives.
- Ensure marketing materials are delivered on time and aligned with brand standards.
3. Event Planning & Execution
- Lead planning and logistics for internal sales meetings and external trade shows.
- Coordinate vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to deliver polished events experiences.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-up activities with strong attention to detail.
4. Sales Team & Marketing Support
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Technical Services, and Finance to align marketing efforts with business priorities.
- Develop commercial marketing materials including presentations, product sheets, and case studies.
- Translate complex technical information into engaging and accessible marketing materials.
5. Brand & Internal Communication
- Maintain brand consistency across marketing materials and communication channels.
- Contribute to internal communications, including newsletters and announcements.
- Support development and management of brand assets and templates.
What You Bring
Must have working knowledge of the following:
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible messaging.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar platforms, with a desire to own and enhance CRM capabilities.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and campaign tracking.

You will analyze market trends, oversee inventory levels, and implement strategies to drive sales growth on 3rd party marketplaces such as Gunbroker, Ebay, Amazon, and more. Purpose of Job:

- Service all commercial account battery needs and issues with a friendly attitude and competitive prices
Job Components:
- 70% - make telesales calls every day, get new accounts and sell as much as possible.
- 15% - quotes, paperwork (including adding and running numbers and reports).
- 15% - entering orders.
- Achieve quality goals set by Sales department.
- Strategizing with store managers on game plans for reaching sales goals.
- Utilizing “Hot Buttons” to further develop customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain cooperative, professional relationships with customers, store managers, co-workers and supervisory staff
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to periodic changes in customer assignments and in achieving departmental goals
Qualifications:
- People skills-ability to communicate, work and deal with all personalities.
- Sales skills or ability to develop sales skills.
- Computer and typing experience very helpful.
- Common sense.
- Positive attitude.
- Prior computer knowledge (typing skills).

- Ability to articulate clearly.
- Able to successfully complete battery training provided by Interstate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year prior telesales experience highly desired.
Scope Data:
- Meet monthly budget goals

- Track orders and dollar amount of orders.
- Meet and surpass monthly goals.
- Manage database and accounts over 60 to 90 days.
- Procedures for completing work have been established and a number of specific guidelines are available. The number of guidelines and work situations requires the employee to use judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines, references, and procedures, and sometimes to make minor deviations. Works with some independence; frequent review of issues with immediate manager.
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit at a computer and talk on the phone for long periods of time.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, i.e. lifting boxes of computer paper.
