As a Logistics Coordinator (Broker-in-Training), you will be immersed in learning the fundamentals of freight brokering from day one. This role is designed as a gateway to a successful career in logistics brokerage. You’ll start by supporting our experienced brokers and operations team in coordinating shipments and solving transportation challenges. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Shipments: Assist in planning and executing freight shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely pickups, transit updates, and on-time deliveries.
- Support Carrier Relations: Communicate daily with carriers (truck drivers and dispatchers) to secure capacity for shipments. Negotiate rates and book loads under the guidance of senior brokers to meet customer needs at competitive prices.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients by tracking shipments proactively and informing customers of any status updates or issues. Address problems or delays with creativity and urgency, ensuring our customers’ expectations are exceeded.
- Documentation & Administration: Handle the paperwork and data entry for shipments. This includes creating load confirmations, verifying carrier credentials, updating load status in our system, and reviewing carrier invoices for accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Jump in to resolve transportation challenges as they arise – whether it’s rerouting a shipment, finding last-minute capacity, or resolving delivery discrepancies. You’ll work with your team to develop creative solutions that keep freight moving and customers happy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your mentor and the broader team on daily operations and special projects. Contribute ideas to streamline processes, improve services, and drive innovation in line with our Logistics Innovation value.

- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus (but not required). As an Implementation Specialist, you’re the go-to person helping new customers get up and running with Unishippers. You’ll partner with our sales team and their clients to figure out what they need, set everything up, walk them through the tools, and be their main support for the first 30 days so they actually use and love the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding & Consultation
- Hop on calls with clients to really understand how they work and what they need so we can set them up with a solution that actually fits.
- Be their main point of contact during implementation so they always know who to go to.
Setup
- Customize the platform (Unishippers’ CRM, Salesforce, and/or third-party shipping tools) based on each customer’s workflow.
- Help move their data from old systems into the new ones so everything transitions smoothly.
- Run initial tests to make sure everything works as expected and that pricing/ratings are coming through correctly.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Lead live, hands-on training sessions for clients and end users on MyUnishippers.
- Stick with them after go-live as their go-to support person, handling questions and issues during the first 30 days.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work side-by-side with sales, billing, customer success, and account management to keep implementations on track.
- Share regular updates on each client’s status through a weekly Activation Report.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
- Spot potential roadblocks early and get in front of them so the client’s launch stays smooth.
- Troubleshoot and fix any technical issues that pop up.
Post-Implementation Support
- Keep supporting clients after launch to make sure they’re happy and getting value from the platform.
- Collect feedback and pass along insights to help improve both the implementation process and the product.

- We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Operator 1 to support warehouse operations in Lenexa, KS. This role involves handling the receipt, storage, retrieval, and shipment of raw and finished materials while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process receiving, put-away, storage, and retrieval of materials
- Perform order picking, packing, and shipping to internal and external customers
