Transportation Coordinators are responsible for communicating route information to their drivers and ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed at their tours of duty. Their main duties include logging each call, providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the field units' routes to prioritize and organize their schedules. Pay is $23.00-$24.04/hour depending on experience. Monday - Friday day schedule we need you available from 5:30AM-5:30PM, this will be a 40 hour work week.
Responsibility Profile:
- Maintain detailed and organized records to accurately perform monthly billing count

SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating all phases of manufacturing to satisfy customer and corporate requirements by performing the following duties.

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role is critical in enhancing operational decision-making by leveraging BI platforms, structured datasets, and advanced reporting to deliver insights that directly impact forecasting accuracy, inventory performance, and supplier compliance.

Core Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Systems Development

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience

The Driver, Dedicated Backhaul is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer (day cab/sleeper), tandem trailer and/or straight trucks on intrastate and/or interstate routes to pick up logistics' loads and/or other related food and non-food product loads in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The Driver, Dedicated Backhaul is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule. The schedule and route types may be local and/or over-the-road, i.e., layovers. Over-the-road schedule length will vary based on the location's business needs.
- Delivers assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory. Ensures timely pick-ups and the right product is received and loaded.
- Performs appropriate load and paperwork inspections including but not limited to product counts, invoices of products that have been loaded, quality checks and other related items as required.
- Check and complete in an accurate and legible fashion all the required paperwork associated with backhaul operations.
- Routinely check in with direct supervisor to confirm route, load, and schedule. Advise direct supervisor of load drop-off/pick-up issues, schedule changes and other related information. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

Position Overview: As a Carrier Sales Representative at Fountain City Logistics, you will play a crucial role in establishing and growing relationships with our carrier partners while delivering best-in-class service. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining these vital connections, ensuring seamless transportation solutions for our clients. We provide continuous education and professional development opportunities to help you reach new heights in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain new relationships with carrier partners across the country.
- Manage the carrier partners you secure during the training program, adding new relationships to your portfolio.
- Enhance your negotiation and customer service skills with support from your Carrier Sales team and manager.
- Collaborate with our sales team to find the best solutions for their clients.
- Focus on service excellence, measured by KPIs such as on-time deliveries and proactive tracking.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of industry experience in a related role.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-energy environment. You will build your career in a hybrid setting, working over the phone alongside a team of peers.
- Strong work ethic; if hard work does not come naturally to you, this might not be the right fit.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to achieve results over the phone, through email and face-to-face.
- Excited to build relationships with a diverse range of people, including peers, truck drivers, dispatchers and business leaders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
