Client: Growing Telecom Construction Company Supporting a Major Cable Provider
About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing telecom construction company supporting a major cable provider with ongoing HFC network construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects across Central Texas. With a strong pipeline of work and expanding field operations, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to support daily activities at their Selma / San Antonio job site.
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the construction site. This role is responsible for managing schedules, tracking production, processing work orders, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring strong communication between field crews, the Project Manager, and the client.
The work includes standard (BAU) HFC construction and maintenance, such as:
- Coax/fiber maintenance
- Node splits
- Line extensions
- Service drops
- School and commercial connects
- Small-scale construction projects
This position is ideal for candidates with telecom, cable, or HFC construction experience who thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with daily coordination of HFC construction and maintenance activities
- Track and report daily production numbers, work order progress, crew assignments, and project milestones
- Maintain accurate project documentation including as-builts, daily logs, permits, work orders, and change orders
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, and crew scheduling across multiple job sites
- Communicate with field supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve scheduling issues and field challenges
- Assist with permit applications, utility locates, and municipal coordination for right-of-way access
- Prepare weekly status reports and production summaries for internal leadership and the client
- Assist with onboarding new field personnel and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Manage work order flow and ensure all documentation is organized, current, and audit-ready
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in HFC, cable, or telecom construction coordination/administration
- Familiarity with HFC plant construction & maintenance operations (coax, nodes, amps, line extensions, service drops)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with work order management systems
- Excellent communication skills with both field and office teams
- High attention to detail for documentation and production tracking
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites around the San Antonio area
Preferred:
- Experience working with or for a major cable MSO (Spectrum, Comcast, Cox, etc.)
- Experience with production reporting or construction documentation
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications: • Valid Class A CDL required.
Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S.
and licensed in their state of residence • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R.
