Responsibilities will include the following:

Purchasing & Procurement

• Lead all purchasing activities for raw materials, consumables, MRO supplies, tooling, spare parts, and contract services in coordination with Corporate Procurement
• Develop sourcing strategies that support cost savings, vendor reliability, and production uptime.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and service levels with suppliers.
• Maintain approved supplier lists and assess vendor performance regularly.

Stores & Inventory Management

• Coordinate expediting activities for urgent or critical parts.

Financial & Compliance Oversight

• Create and manage annual budgets for purchasing, inventory, and stores operations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Supervise buyers and stores associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the unique position of Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver). This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to Penske locations and Penske customers. Primarily, this position moves our box trucks up to 26' and for CDL Class A will include tractors and trailer movement. The U.S. base salary range for this position is $67,500.00 - $112,500 annually. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job.
