What qualifications you will need:

• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Position Details: 

• Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for you to have predictability in your schedule

What you will do in this role: 

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery 
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification 
• Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy 
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies 
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team – consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more 
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients

As a Registered Nurse for Admission and Discharge, the top priority is delivering exceptional patient-centered care. • Teaches patients/families/caregivers about a patient’s medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete knowledge.
• Completes extra discharge documentation, education, and discharge care for special patient populations, to ensure compliance with core measures for discharge.
• Ensures patients /families/caregivers receive copies of discharge paperwork and any other documentation needed, such as referrals for ongoing care, educational materials, etc.
• Coordinates with House Supervisors/Nursing Administration to prioritize workload and identify greatest need areas to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Demonstrates a time-conscious awareness and ability to prioritize. Distinguishes between low and high-priority activities.

We are seeking a Charge Critical Care Registered Nurse for our ICU. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment in a leadership role. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• You will provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift

Requirements:

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred
• Current BLS required 
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire of transfer
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
• Critical thinking, service excellent and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

This role is ideal for candidates with a paralegal or legal administrative background who also bring light accounting/QuickBooks experience and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a small, fast‐paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize client files, legal-style documents, forms, and office records

• Assist with light bookkeeping (QuickBooks entries, invoices, expenses, receipts, deposits)

• Process incoming/outgoing mail, client packets, forms, and document requests

• Manage scheduling, phones, calendars, and client communication

• Prepare or draft letters, templated forms, and basic documents

• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and clients

• Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and document preparation

• Track deadlines and manage follow-up items to support firm leadership

• Maintain overall office structure, organization, and workflow

• Provide general administrative and operational support as needed

Preferred Background

• Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or legal administrative professional

• Experience with light accounting or bookkeeping responsibilities

• QuickBooks familiarity (or similar accounting software)

• Strong document management and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
