Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.
All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.

Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Head, Global Regulatory Operations (GRO), the Head of Global Regulatory Information, Data and Systems (GRIDS) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive GRIDS strategy. This pivotal role ensures Takeda's regulatory data integrity while driving the adoption and efficiency of Regulatory systems globally.
This role involves guiding and mentoring a team of experts, driving regulatory data quality confidence, ensuring global system reach and adoption, and enhancing efficiency through data connectivity across Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA), Research & Development (R&D), and the enterprise. Additionally, the role leads accurate and timely reporting for both common and ad hoc regulatory affairs questions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Global GRIDS Strategy Development and Realization:
- In partnership and collaboration with GRA and GRO leadership, Takeda IT functions, R&D cross-functional, and enterprise stakeholders, develop and align global GRIDS strategy and roadmap.
- Execute and track GRIDS strategy through agreed to set of milestones, key deliverables, activities, and monitor progress through metrics. Proactively identify and manage risks and issues. Ensure ongoing stakeholder engagement and awareness throughout.

- Lead initiatives for regulatory information standards adoption and ensure organizational readiness to meet regulatory requirements, including eCTD4, SPOR/IDMP, and CTIS/EU CTR.
- Oversee master data management for regulatory data and partner/ drive connectivity with RD and enterprise systems.
GRIDS Data Analytics:
- Drive GRIDS business intelligence and data visualization capabilities to support data-driven decision making for Therapeutic Areas Units (TAUs), regulatory leadership, and other stakeholders for pipeline realization and post-approval lifecycle management.

The base salary range for this role in Atlanta is $121,000.00 - $147,700.00Β

Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nationβs economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
- Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records;OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to:
- Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
- Deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner in connection with law enforcement matters.
- Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR

Vaxess is committed to enabling products that are not only more effective, but also more accessible to patients around the world.
The Role:
The Quality System Specialist / Senior Quality System Specialist plays a key role in supporting and enhancing Vaxess Technologiesβ Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with applicable GMP/GLP standards. This position focuses on maintaining robust electronic quality systems, managing controlled documentation, and supporting the integration of new processes and applications.
Responsibilities:
Quality System and Computerized System Oversight
- Support quality oversight for computerized systems, including QMS implementation, configuration, validation, and data migration activities.
- Assist in launching new or enhanced system functionalities and communicating updates or user guidance to ensure effective adoption.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and system vendors to ensure integrated processes across modules (Document Control, Training, Equipment, and Material Management).
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues as needed.
Documentation and Record Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of controlled documents, including creation, revision, review, approval, distribution, and archival within the electronic document management system (EDMS).
- Ensure that controlled documents, such as SOPs, batch records, and specifications, are accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Coordinate document workflows with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and alignment with procedural requirements.
- Author or revise SOPs, forms, and work instructions supporting quality system and GMP operations.
Training and Compliance Support
- Provide training and day-to-day support to employees on document control and system processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for document control and computerized systems during internal and external audits and inspections.
- Support tracking and reporting of quality metrics (e.g., training completion, document cycle time, CAPA effectiveness) to drive continual improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 2β5 years of experience in a GMP, GLP, or GxP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry).
- Experience with electronic quality management systems (e.g., Enzyme, Greenlight Guru, Veeva, MasterControl, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (21 CFR Parts 210/211/11/820; ISO 9001/13485).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Title: Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, Preclinical

Research & development at Vaxess is cross-disciplinary, integrating basic science and engineering to transform delivery of next-generation therapies and vaccines. We are seeking a talented, collaborative, and highly motivated individual with expertise in translational animal models to join our core team of preclinical scientists and engineers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an emerging early phase clinical company bringing innovative microneedle therapeutic delivery technology to the global market.
Responsibilities:
- Support in vivo studies, including PK and safety studies in swine. This includes preclinical animal model development and IND-enabling safety and efficacy studies across pipeline programs.
- Emphasis will be placed on coordination and participation in survival PK studies in swine
- Track ongoing animal studies, coordinating tasks from vivarium organization and test article administration to tissue harvest and downstream processing
- Ensure timely and thorough documentation of processes and learnings following in vivo studies, with an emphasis on longitudinal tracking of outcomes and compiled data summaries
- Characterize microneedle array patch (MAP) test articles deployed into preclinical models, e.g. by visual inspection, skin penetration, dose delivery and potentially other performance measurements
- Perform initial biometric tests on animals and downstream blood and tissue harvests to support bioassays that assess treatment effects
- Contribute to study design and protocol and report writing; communicate logistical needs and present work in team meetings
- Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to advance drug candidates from research through Phase I/II clinical trials
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and electronic lab notebook entries
- Travel to testing facilities in the greater Boston area, potentially several times per week; transport test articles and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in one of the Life Sciences with at least 2 years of related work experience OR Masterβs degree in one of the Life Sciences with 0-2+ years of related work experience
- Experience with large animal handling and technical procedures, particularly swine, is required; Experience with large animal research models and PK studies is considered a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
