Overview:

Our client is currently looking to hire a CNC Machinist to join our organization within our Global Machining Operations.

We are hiring individuals to join a large team of professionals who work within our world-class 50,000 square-foot Machining/Manufacturing facility. This facility includes over 90+ start of the art CNC machines and technologies. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated machinist to work in our exciting, fast paced work environment utilizing a variety of CNC lathe and CNC Milling technologies to produce machined components for our biotechnology products.

Seeking Entry-Level (1–2 Years), Mid-Level (3–5 Years), and High-Level (5+ Years).

Multiple shifts available:

Shift Schedule: Wed/Thurs/Fri 7:30pm to 8:00am. This position requires set-up and operation abilities of more than one multi-axis machine such as Citizen Swiss (A20, L20, M20), Nakamura-Tome (WT-100, WT-150, WT-250), Okuma or Mori-Seiki. Inspection of own and other associates’ parts, computer skills, ability to read and edit programs and make sound decisions when presented with issues is required. Excellent communication skills are paramount as working on multiple machines with associates is a required function.

This opening is an second shift position for Monday - Thursday 3:00pm till 1:00am. The position requires set-up and operation abilities of more than one multi-axis machine such as Mori NLX lathe, Kitamura milling machines, Robodrills, and Agie Charmilles EDM machines. Inspection of own and other associates’ parts, computer skills, ability to read and edit programs and make sound decisions when presented with issues is required. Excellent communication skills are paramount as working on multiple machines with associates is a required function.

Responsibilities:

• Follow written process and operate a variety of CNC machines with limited supervisor
• Set-up and operate CNC equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary.
• Inspect first piece and in process material utilizing visual and hand inspection equipment, which include: Vernier calipers, Micrometer and drop dial indicators as well as profilometer and CMM operations.
• Interact in a Manufacturing environment with a variety of personnel and shift change daily, as well as sharing a machining center with another associate.
• Performing all basic set-ups and all machining functions associated with the machinery in the Valve Cell Department
• Performing bench type operations which include polishing, and other operations of the more complicated nature.
• Operator will be responsible for reading blueprints and verifying with measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, etc.) the dimensions of the produced part to the blueprint

Qualifications:

Education:

• Vocational trades school, high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal trades or apprenticeship preferred.

Experience:

• All training will be developed and implemented based upon the candidate’s experience level.

Skills:

• Must be able to read complex engineering drawings, perform shop math and keep accurate records.
• Performing all basic set-ups and all machining functions associated with the machinery in the Valve Cell Department
• Performing bench type operations which include polishing, and other operations of the more complicated nature.
• Operator will be responsible for reading blueprints and verifying with measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, etc.) the dimensions of the produced part to the blueprint.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer II supports the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining key manufacturing documentation such as PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, manufacturing cell and line layouts, process routers, equipment qualifications, validation protocols, and work instructions. The engineer works cross-functionally to transfer products into production and support ongoing manufacturing operations. This role also helps implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes, select equipment, create work instructions, perform process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and train production staff.
• Develop, validate, and implement automated, semi-automated, and manual assembly and test equipment for disposable product manufacturing, ensuring proper documentation, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in FMEA activities to identify and mitigate process risks.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Quality teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability while meeting cost, quality, and performance requirements.
• Work with Quality and R&D to maintain compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards including FDA GMP, QSR, and ISO 13485.
• Support pilot production and develop lean manufacturing cells to improve throughput and product quality.
• Assist production teams by ensuring operators are trained, schedules are followed, and production documentation is accurate. Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes related to safety, quality, lead time, productivity, and cost.
• Investigate manufacturing issues using NCMR and CAPA systems, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 3+ years of medical device manufacturing
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD or Pro/Engineer acceptable).
• Understanding of FDA GMP, QSR, and ISO 13485 requirements.

Nice to Haves

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of electromechanical component and assembly design and fabrication.

As part of the telemetry unit, Telemetry Nurses (RN) provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood-oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. These machines then send data to computer screens for nurses to monitor. Telemetry Nurses read and interpret the data to better determine patient care.

• Provide care for patients by comfortably connecting them to machines that measure blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, blood-oxygen level, and electrocardiogram information.

The Inside Sales Representative serves as the centralized front line for all inbound and outbound demand generation supporting Greenwood Industries’ service and sales growth. Key Responsibilities

Inbound Intake & Customer Engagement

• Handle inbound service and sales inquiries from customers and prospects
