• Resource Allocation: Identify necessary skillsets and time investments required to achieve program goals, working with the Director of Engineering to ensure proper team staffing.

Technical Leadership & Execution:

• Engineering Oversight: Manage a team of software developers as well as directly contribute to design, write, and test code in relevant languages (ex. C, C++, Java, Python) while maintaining high standards for code reviews and merge requests.
• Testing and Verification Leadership: Oversee the team's testing and verification strategy, including defining and enforcing quality gates, ensuring comprehensive unit, integration, and system testing, and validating that all delivered software meets the highest standards for performance, security, and customer-defined requirements.
• Technical Project Tracking: Lead the breakdown of technical work into manageable Epics, Milestones, and Issues, ensuring progress is delivered successfully.
• Mentorship: Innovate and mentor a team of engineers, leading them on top of tech trends (e.g., DevSecOps for embedded) and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Customer Engagement & Growth:

• Technical Partner: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) point of contact for customers in articulating technical requirements, outlining technical expectations, and leading high-stakes customer demonstrations.

Required Skills:

• Leadership: Proven experience in a technical leadership role (e.g., Tech Lead, Chief Engineer, or Principal Investigator) managing full-lifecycle delivery to programs.
• Technical Mastery: High-level C/C++ skills, proficient in software architecture design, ability to resolve ambiguities of requirements, deliverables, and presentation approach
• Clearance: Current/recent U.S. Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one). U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Communication: Strong skills in communicating technical concepts with technical and semi-technical audiences

We are seeking an Account Manager with proven sales and customer relationship experience, open to actively engaging with prospects, generating leads and fostering relationships. Duties:

• Uses remote tools and cloud technology to provide technical support for hardware, software, store networks, and applications
• Manages simultaneous connections to multiple stores and pieces of equipment; prioritizes the order in which repairs are made in order of emergency priority
• Monitors the severity of data packet loss either to the entire store network or specific pieces of equipment. Provides the best solution to resolve the underlying problem to bring equipment up to full functionality
• Identifies and corrects issues before a location is aware of a problem using cloud and web-based applications
• Determines the best course of action to improve performance and efficiency of store systems, equipment, and applications
• Provides accurate verbal instruction when onsite diagnostics is needed to bring various pieces of equipment to full functionality
• Understands and completes proper processes when installing software
• Directs field personnel in installing new equipment that is going on the store network
• Configures and upgrades software on newly installed devices
• Implements software changes for fuel dispensers and fuel tanks
• Sets up new DVR equipment and configures recording settings, including using proper naming conventions, for multiple cameras
• Provides troubleshooting by using remote tools connected to other legacy networks
• Manages multiple tickets and works them in order of emergency to lowest priority
• Identifies re-occurring store issues by reading and understanding case history and determines if a different course of resolution is needed to reduce repeat problems
• Reads, interprets, and follows procedures described in the internal knowledge base
• Provides documentation for knowledge-base articles
• Works with third-party help desk vendors as applicable
• Maintains inventories and orders parts as needed
• Provides phone support as needed
• Attends training classes as required to stay current with new equipment troubleshooting procedures and technology

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensures as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

High School Algebra and ELA Tutor

Are you passionate about teaching and learning? Are you motivated to make a positive impact in the lives of urban, working-class youth? If yes, this position with SmartStart Education is right for you!

The Job:

SmartStart Education seeks a small group Algebra and ELA Tutor to work with small groups of high school students on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Each small group consists of 1-4 students. Each group consists of students who have been identified as students who are struggling with fundamental algebra and ELA skills. Students are from grade levels 9th through 12th.

The tutor will work with each group several times throughout the week at a high school in Dayton, OH. Groups will take place within the classroom (push-in services) or outside of the classroom (pull-out services). Tutors should be flexible and comfortable with both settings. Each tutor will be given the responsibility of taking daily attendance and monitoring student progress using a personal device (mobile phone).

Job Details:

The tutoring position begins promptly on March 17, 2026 and ends on May 14, 2026. The schedule will be 8am through 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Applicants are encouraged to schedule interviews as soon as possible to allow ample time to complete onboarding steps. Failure to do so may result in a position being unavailable.

Salary Range: $214.20 to $235.62 per day.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field is mandatory. ***Please note that applications with anticipated graduation dates will not be considered.
• Demonstrated experience of at least one year in teaching or tutoring, either within a school environment or another educational setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by urban students, schools, and communities, encompassing racial disparity, socio-economic disparity, and cultural disparity.
• Mastery of high school algebra and ELA concepts and skills, substantiating proficiency in the subject matter.
• Display of genuine passion and unwavering commitment towards fostering the success of students.
• Exemplary punctuality, ensuring timely attendance and adherence to established schedules.
• Proficiency in communication skills, enabling effective and articulate interaction with students, colleagues, and interested parties.
• Ability to comfortably commute to the designated location.
• Ability to comfortably navigate a school environment, including walking through hallways, classrooms, and stairways throughout the workday.
