Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
* Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance, and/or design of mechanical, and electrical equipment improvements as well as complex systems as the employee's job specialty requires. Provides troubleshooting support on equipment and technical support on production lines as appropriate for the employee's job specialty. * Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems.
* Utilizes predictive equipment and interprets results for analysis, equipment condition assessment, troubleshooting and proactive maintenance. Including but not limited to infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, power quality analysis, laser interferometry, ball bar, and vibration analysis.
* Leads, drives and participates in CI activities--processes, results and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
* Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Suggests alternative items and engineered solutions to improve reliability.
* Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
* Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
* May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
* Studies and investigates technical and systems methods, tools, and innovations that can be implemented in ATS sites to improve maintenance practices and updates documentation.
* Prepares input for cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, cost savings and innovations as required.
* Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data.
* Provides technical contents of sales quotations and performs T&M duties as required.
* Trains and coaches less proficient technician. Assumes project manager responsibilities as assigned.
* Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
* Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
* High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
* Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
* Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
* Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
* Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
* May be required to travel.
* Six Sigma experience desired.

Overview
We are seeking a driven and technically minded Sales Representative - Packaging Solutions to lead the growth of our premium power rental refurbishment packages, custom-engineered solutions, and controls upgrades. Supporting the Caterpillar Dealer Power Rental network nationwide, this role is responsible for developing trusted relationships and delivering value-added solutions that enhance performance, extend equipment life, and meet evolving customer needs. You'll collaborate with engineering, operations, and product support teams to position our packaged offerings as the go-to choice for rental fleet optimization across the U.S. If you excel at consultative selling and have a passion for power systems, this is a unique opportunity to make a nationwide impact.
Basic Duties
- Develop and grow sales of power rental refurbishment packages, custom generator solutions, and controls upgrade offerings across the Caterpillar Power Rental network nationwide.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for rental dealers, collaborating closely to understand needs, propose solutions, and close sales.
- Conduct site visits, fleet evaluations, and technical discovery to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, repackaging, or performance enhancements.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and product support teams to scope projects, develop proposals, and ensure accurate execution of customer requirements.
- Prepare and present technical sales proposals, pricing, and project timelines tailored to customer objectives.
- Track and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through post-sale support and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of packaging standards, emissions regulations, control technologies, and Caterpillar product developments.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and internal business reviews to promote packaging capabilities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Provide input on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive positioning to help guide product development and strategic direction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in power generation, rental equipment, or industrial solutions.
- Knowledge of generator sets, control systems, and power packaging is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar power products and the power rental industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close consultative sales in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage a wide geographic territory and travel as needed.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and service support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
- Some out of state travel will be required.

To facilitate the activities of a nursing unit through the effective performance of receptionist, transcriptionist, and clerical processes and/or to assist Registered Nurses in performing assigned patient care and unit maintenance activities. This position manages information and connects physicians, team members and visitors with appropriate resources.
Qualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), Education: H.S. Provides elimination needs of assigned patient. (Foley care, bowel movements, bladder training, enemas, and external catheters; records output.)

Provides comfort measures (Proper positioning, back rubs, oral care, wrinkle free bed sheets and ensuring that bedside table, water pitcher, urinal are within reach.)

The compensation range for this position is $17.89per hour - $28.98per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll work in a unique manufacturing and dealer environment, leveraging expert-level AutoCAD and Inventor skills to craft low- and medium-voltage AC layouts, DC controls, and the logic that ties multiple gensets into advanced paralleling switchgear and smart control panels. Juggle multiple high-impact projects, troubleshoot in the test cell, and serve as the go-to authority for production teams and customers alike-making an outsized impact alongside a collaborative squad of engineers, sales pros, and suppliers.
Basic Duties
Develop exact electrical documentation
- Produce comprehensive wiring schematics, conduit schedules, and panel layouts in AutoCAD and Inventor for diesel and natural gas gensets, ensuring every reference, layer, and legend is unambiguous.
- Size and specify breakers, relays, PLC/HMI hardware, and interface circuits that integrate seamlessly with low to medium-voltage paralleling switchgear and DC control systems.
- Audit project drawings, vendor prints, and specifications against UL, NFPA 70/110, ISO, and customer standards; log variances and close them before release.
- Diagnose elusive startup, commissioning, and controls problems for technicians through root-cause-based recommendations that feed back into design libraries to improve the product.
- Translate application questions into concise recommendations and solutions and document in formal engineering notes.
- Maintain production continuity
- Follow standard protocols and proven design protocols to ensure consistent high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Manage the submittal dossier
- Assemble, index, and track all drawings, studies, and data sheets through the approval cycle; document every revision for full traceability.
- Leverage Caterpillar engineering resources
- Retrieve and interpret factory application guides, PID data, and software updates; ensure the latest revisions are embedded in each project.
- Enable precise estimating
- Deliver dimensioned one-lines, BOMs, and labor take-offs to the Sales team so quotes reflect real scope, margin, and risk.
- Design for the exceptional case
- Apply first-principles analysis to bespoke components or control sequences required by unique site conditions or regulatory environments.
- Control the critical path
- Use tools and milestone checklists to keep engineering actions on time, document slippage causes, and propose corrective actions proactively.
- Adapt as requirements evolve
- When priorities shift, re-baseline drawings, calculations, designs, and priorities so the entire team works from a single source of truth.

Education & Experience
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) - or at least ten years of hands-on experience in the engine-driven power-generation industry or a closely related technology field with design engineering experience for 5+ years.

- Proficiency with Caterpillar toolsets (CAT ET, CAT Monitoring Software, SIS Web, TMI, EDDC) is highly desirable.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables. Applicants without utility pole design or distribution engineering experience will not be considered.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
