AP Executive Staffing (APX) is partnering with a leading global manufacturing company located in Niagara Falls to hire Senior Mechanical Technicians for a rapidly growing fluid technology product line. This 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM), hands-on role assembles large, industrial enclosures and packaged system builds.

What you’ll do:

• Assemble HVAC enclosures and packages from engineering drawings
• Install piping, conduit, cladding, roof panels, and superstructures
• Perform hydrostatic testing and required measurements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings & P&ID diagrams
• Work safely at elevated heights with proper PPE

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years hands-on experience assembling large, industrial, electrical-mechanical systems
• Proficiency with hand & power tools (cutting, drilling, tapping, threading)
• HS diploma or equivalent + trade training
• Pipefitting or mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read assembly/engineering drawings strongly preferred

Overview

Key Responsibilities

Production & Floor Support

Provide daily hands‑on technical support for engine assembly lines.

Troubleshoot issues with PLCs, robotics, HMIs, vision systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment.

Respond quickly to equipment downtime and root-cause issues impacting production.

Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering groups to prioritize issues.

Machine Controls & Automation

Program, modify, and troubleshoot:

Siemens PLC systems

Rockwell / Allen-Bradley Global Common platforms

HMI systems

Fanuc robots and cobots

Support automation equipment from Hirata (Japan) and other vendors.

Vision Systems & Sensors

Configure and troubleshoot:

Equipment Launch & Implementation

Support installation and commissioning of new Gen6 Small Block Internal Gas Engine assembly equipment.

Assist with procurement, integration, testing, and validation of automated systems.

Document changes, support PFMEAs, and maintain standard work.

Support Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) such as:

Participate in:

Morning carryover meeting

Education

The Quality Control Manager shall oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and supervision of the project quality control plan, including employees and outside agencies or consultants involved in inspections and testing.

Borealis Enterprises, LLC is an entity of NTVI Federal, Inc, a federal contractor engaged in construction, professional services, facility management and telecommunications, with its corporate office in Chantilly, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

• The Quality Control Manager (QCM) will assure, to the best of their abilities, that all materials, workmanship and construction are in full compliance with the contract, plans and specifications, and all applicable building codes.
• The QCM will conduct business in a professional and ethical manner and integrate well into the project team. The QCM is authorized to require that defective work or material be corrected or removed until made compliant.
• Submittal review and approval shall be the responsibility of the QCM including recommendations for variations, value engineering, and betterments.
• The QCM shall perform inspections as needed and shall prepare and maintain inspection and performance records daily.
• Preparatory meetings shall be held with subcontractors and all parties concerned as needed to define QC and safety policies and procedures with each newly definable feature of work.
• The QCM will also maintain current certifications for First Aid, CPR and OSHA.

Position Requirements:

• Engineering Degree Required (Civil Engineering degree preferred)
• 2+ years of field experience in the role of Quality Control Assistant Manager or 5-10 years of acceptable construction related experience – Superintendent or Assistant Project Manager or similar.
• Possess a current CQM certification
• CPR Certification Required
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course
• Proven competency and proficiency of position’s essential job functions, duties, and responsibilities.
• Broad-based project and management skills to lead and effectively communicate with people both internal and external to the company.
• Project experience in the $1 million to $10 million range including multi-story buildings, site work, grading, and site utilities
• Proficiency in PC-based programs including Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.
• Experience with Government/Military projects
• The QCM may spend part of their time at noisy production sites. In some areas, you may have to wear protective clothing or goggles. Some travel may be required.

We are looking for an experienced leader in experimentation methodology to join our core Applied ML team. The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll get to do...

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment across the Applied ML team and broader organization

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas

You might also have...

• Master's in computer science or equivalent quantitative fields
