We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Designer / CAD Drafter to support utility and substation infrastructure projects in Bronx, New York. This role requires 5 days per week on-site in the Bronx, New York and will focus on producing detailed structural steel and fabrication drawings, supporting engineering teams, and delivering high-quality, field-ready documentation.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong experience in steel detailing, fabrication packages, and substation structures.

The Quality Control Lead is responsible for overseeing daily QC activities, ensuring products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role leads the QC team, coordinates testing and inspections, analyzes data, and implements corrective actions to maintain product excellence and compliance. This is a second shift role (3pm - 12am).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Quality Control team in daily laboratory and inspection activities.

Background

The Innovation Planner will act as the project manager and supply chain lead in processes that are executed in close cooperation with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Finance, Category Management and other Supply Chain Functional teams.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the innovation project plans from Pre-Start/Kick-off, through to implementation and post launch evaluation. This is achieved through helping to scope the project, defining activities and timings required to ensure capability is in place, and then following up on these timings throughout the project

The Rockland County Department of Highways, Drainage Division, is seeking a Director of the Drainage Agency. The work is specialized diverse, and complex in nature.

This is administrative and managerial work of a complex nature that involves responsibility for developing and implementing policies and procedures to implement safe, efficient and modern stream maintenance and drainage programs. The work is performed under the general direction of the Superintendent of Highways and in accordance with Federal and New York State applicable laws and regulations and Rockland County objectives and policies. Supervision is exercised over professional and technical employees. Develops policies and procedures with respect to drainage programs and makes recommendations to the Superintendent of Highways regarding same. Arranges for the engineering, construction, improvement, repair and maintenance of County streams, water courses, drainage courses, and tributaries and ensures that services are in compliance with policies and regulations. Oversees the administration of drainage-related capital projects, including but not limited to monitoring funding, supervising contract bid processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirement. Responds to emergencies (e.g. severe flooding) by inspecting and monitoring flooding and related conditions, acting as liaison with County officials and first responders to exchange information and resolve problems, preparing reports regarding flood damage and related conditions in order to obtain New York State and Federal funding. Thorough knowledge of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation requirements and regulations, thorough knowledge of general practices and regulations regarding stream maintenance and general construction procedures. Good knowledge of administrative procedures and techniques, especially as they pertain to a comprehensive modern stream maintenance and drainage programs, ability to plan, develop and implement general policies and procedures for a modern and efficient stream and drainage system, including stream maintenance and construction.
