The Senior Counsel (“SC”), Privacy will provide privacy legal support across the global Disney enterprise, with a focus on the Disney Entertainment streaming segments, including Disney+, Hulu and the advertising and distribution teams. The SC will advise on privacy issues related to product development and initiatives for Disney+, working closely with cross-functional business and legal stakeholders and coordinating regularly with regional privacy teams. Key responsibilities also include drafting and negotiating privacy data terms for a wide range of technology and vendor agreements, including advertising technology agreements, as well as distribution and partnership deals, and supporting privacy impact assessments in support of client initiatives. This role partners with teams across Disney Entertainment, including product and engineering, advertising, viewer experience (customer support), and distribution. In doing so, you’ll help shape Disney’s philosophy, policies, and practices concerning data governance.

What You Will Do:

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on privacy and data protection terms in vendor technology, advertising, and distribution partner agreements.
• Advise on legal and business initiatives as they relate to privacy compliance, policy, and process, while providing practical guidance that will help Disney develop and implement solutions to complex issues.
• Maintain documentation of privacy requirements and advice for global product launches and initiatives, including data protection impact assessments and other compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a corporate legal department or law firm advising clients on data privacy issues, including negotiating and drafting contracts, product counseling, data governance oversight, and providing compliance-related guidance.
• Knowledge of privacy laws, regulations, and self-regulatory guidelines, such as CCPA and other comprehensive privacy laws, as well as sectoral privacy laws (e.g. VPPA, COPPA, BIPA, TCPA, and GLBA). Preferably, candidates will also be well-versed in international privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, PIPEDA and LGPD) and have experience providing legal services to international teams.
• Instinct and drive to take ownership, act proactively, and think strategically.
• Excellent judgment and aptitude for analyzing complex issues, identifying, assessing, and prioritizing legal risk, and devising business-oriented solutions and strategies.

The Manager, Enterprise Programs & Platform Performance is a leadership role focused on developing high performance teams while driving enterprise programs and advancing platform capabilities that enable Global Security's mission worldwide. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Security Control Center (GSCC) Strategic Operations, this role leads a high-impact team including a Program Manager and Geospatial Specialists, while fostering an inclusive, high-trust culture aligned with The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) values. This role will coach, develop, and hold the team accountable—building capability and engagement to deliver exceptional results.

Beyond people leadership, this role serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for Travel Risk Management (TRM) and the platforms supporting Open-Source Intelligence / Social Media Research (OSINT/SMR) operations. As the TRM expert, this leader is responsible for evolving the enterprise TRM program into a global, Fortune 50 gold-standard capability supporting more than 150,000 travelers annually, partnering with enterprise travel leadership to align with ISO 31030 standards and ensuring Disney's global workforce is supported with best-in-class travel safety resources and response capabilities.   The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $107,300 to $147,500 per year. What you’ll do

• Own the Backlog: Prioritize and manage features for an AI-driven decision science product, balancing experimentation, innovation, and business value delivery.

This role will serve as the connective tissue between multiple departments’ data needs and our AI data extraction application, designing, testing, and governing prompts that turn contracts into reliable, downstream-ready data.

Accelerate time to insight by turning key clauses and metadata into structured fields consumable by analytics and operational systems.

Raise extraction quality and consistency through prompt patterns, evaluation methods, and field-level scoring.

Increase operational efficiencies by replacing manual operations.

Responsibilities
