We are seeking a Senior Robotic Simulation Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in building high-fidelity simulation environments and synthetic data pipelines using NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the development of scalable, realistic virtual worlds that power the training and validation of robotic foundation models for perception, planning, and manipulation.

At GM's manufacturing technology development team, you'll work closely with robotics and AI teams within the Manufacturing Technology Development (MTD) team to create simulation scenes that replicate complex manufacturing environments, generate diverse synthetic datasets, and build robust data workflows that accelerate model development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support the design of exterior components and assemblies from concept through production using CAD. Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Manage the release of production-ready parts, drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM) through PLM systems such as Teamcenter while supporting program milestones and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with suppliers on feasibility, design for manufacturing (DFM), tooling development, and technical reviews to ensure parts meet cost, quality, and timing targets.
• Support validation activities including DVP&R development, testing coordination, and design verification to ensure components meet durability, fit, finish, and performance standards.
• Partner with Styling, Studio, Manufacturing Engineering, CAE, and Program Management teams to ensure exterior components align with vehicle styling intent and production requirements.
• Support DFMEA development and manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO) to resolve design issues and improve product quality throughout the development cycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–8+ years of experience in automotive exterior trim design, development, or release engineering.
• Experience using CATIA V5/V6, or similar CAD software for 3D modeling and design development.
• Understanding of plastic injection molding, composite materials, tooling development, and painted exterior components.

The PVI Audit team is a highly specialized group that plays a lead role in supplier overpayment root cause analysis, and end to end process improvements to mitigate risk for Global Purchasing contracts. PVI is responsible to proactively identify supplier overpayment situations, collaborate with Global Purchasing and Supply Chain to recover the overpayment, and ensure that contracts are updated to reflect accurate contract pricing. Work requires collaboration with purchasing, finance, technical accounting, and engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze contracts to identify contract errors and recovery opportunities

• Deliver high-quality audit results to communicate the contract issues to purchasing

• Work with key stakeholders to review audit results and agree on recovery approach

About the Job:

The Estimator will provide and direct full estimating services in the company’s General Contracting/ Construction Management division and its Self-Perform Concrete group when needed. Estimating services will be for smaller sized projects as defined by Executive Management as well as be part of the estimating team on larger projects. The estimator will be required to perform and direct all duties on lump sum and conceptual formats.

Primary Responsibilities:

3. Will set up each estimate and perform “accurate” in-house estimates for all or applicable trades of work, temporary facilities, winter/summer conditions, etc.

Qualifications / Skills:

1. Has experience with Estimating or Project Management and has comprehension of how to read drawings/specifications, conduct takeoffs, quantity summarization, and knowledge of CSI divisions.
2. Possess the working competency with the following software: Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project), Bluebeam, Procore, Egnyte, Building Connected, ProEst and Onscreen Takeoff.
