Job Title : Oceanography Category / Component: Officer • Both Overview Oceanography (OCEANO) Officers, also called METOC, are the Navy's geophysical experts who understand and apply all facets of meteorology, oceanography, hydrography, bathymetry, geophysics, and precise time and astrometry.
Their mission is to define and apply the physical environment, from the bottom of the ocean to the stars, to ensure the U.S.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Operations
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to client account management; build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Serve as key liaison between all Game Creek personnel and assigned clients for all pre-show and post-show activity
- Proactive acquisition and handling of production paperwork; input show requirements for all assigned events into GCV scheduling program and manage accuracy of venue notes, change of venue names, venue/client contact information, and hotel information; manage credential requests in conjunction with Human Resources when applicable
- Communicate personnel requirements with crewing companies nationwide
- In conjunction with Operations Manager, update equipment templates as needed
- Communicate and work closely with venue personnel regarding mobile unit ETAs, credentials, and P&P times
- Partner with clients that book hotels directly for Engineers and Drivers to ensure that dates, times, and assigned personnel are correct; collaborate with road staff to minimize travel expenses when possible
- Ensure client equipment levels match GCV contract levels and alert clients of any additional charges that may be incurred for specific equipment use; directly communicate with Engineering to ensure correct equipment is on mobile unit prior to show; work with Logistics to solve outstanding equipment issues, such as truck shortages and/or replacements for damaged gear
- Work in partnership with Logistics and Engineering to gather information regarding damaged/missing equipment while in client’s possession to ensure charges are appropriately reflected on invoices
- Serve as advocate for assigned clients and associated staff; proactively identify potential issues or challenges and escalate to management; offer solutions as appropriate
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with all internal and external parties; travel to remote locations 2-4 times per year and meet with Engineering Managers, Engineers, Drivers, and clients to strengthen relationships and obtain critical feedback in order to improve the overall service offering
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Invoice Generation & Management
- Partner with the Expense team to execute timely and accurate invoice processing across all assigned shows using a 5 day prior-to-event deadline for base quotes and a 1 day target deadline for finalized invoices
- Accurately assemble invoice template with base price, overtime rate, mileage, and additional equipment/staffing, if applicable at least one day before the show
- Following show completion, fill in additional equipment (added day of game), overtime, and missing & damaged equipment to base invoice
- Send completed base invoice to Expense team and share any relevant travel information he/she may need for final processing
- Review final client invoices for accuracy and submit for processing within 10 day timeframe

General Description
The Estimator is responsible for the preparation and review of assigned roadway construction and/or asphalt paving estimate packages; implementing department standards and procedures while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of estimate packages. Company primarily performs construction activities involving asphalt paving/resurfacing, bridge construction, earthwork/grading, roadway construction/rehabs, and highway work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Read/review plans, proposals, specifications, RFP’s, and any other pertinent project related documents necessary to develop a competent and competitive estimate/bid package.
- Solicit estimates from various subcontractors and vendors to prepare estimate packages.
- Prepare reports and analysis pertinent to estimating as requested by management
- Review established labor, equipment, and material costs, for preparation of estimate/bid packages.
- Prepare accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings.
- Produce detailed, final contract estimates, for primarily Asphalt Paving and Roadway/Site Development Projects.
- Assess project exposures/construction risks and appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate.
- Identify potential construction issues through the estimating process.
- Identify value-engineering alternatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Working experience on HCSS software or other equivalent estimating software.
- Must be able to verbally communicate effectively; as well as written correspondence.
- Working knowledge of asphalt laydown and/or roadway construction operations.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and written specifications.
- Attention to detail, including interpretation and preparation of spreadsheets and other data.
Education and/or Experience
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator bidding asphalt paving and/or roadway construction projects.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, is required.
- Experience working for a General Contractor as an estimator bidding on Department of Transportation or other roadway projects between $1M and $25M required.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Need:

As a Senior Process Project Manager, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to leading and executing strategic capital investment and process improvement projects that enhance the design, performance, and reliability of our yogurt manufacturing operations. The role includes overseeing projects from concept through full implementation, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, plant operational needs, and product quality expectations. Responsibilities include driving process design, managing cross-functional project teams, supporting production and quality operations, and ensuring successful commissioning of new or upgraded yogurt processing systems. Additionally, the Senior Yogurt Process Project Manager will collaborate with other Lactalis USA Corporate team members, the Lactalis Group Corporate Engineering & Equipment Department, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Plant Engineering and Operations teams to align duties with the company's goals and values.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance criteria to support strategic business goals within yogurt manufacturing and processing.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate technical constraints, operational impacts, and cost-benefit considerations.
- Partner with Key Stakeholders at Corporate and Plant level - including Production, Quality, Planning, R&D, Finance, Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering - to obtain buy-ins and to ensure that project designs meet business, operational, and regulatory expectations.
- Develop complete project packages including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, scopes of work, cost estimates, timelines, ROI, and risk assessments required for capital project justification and submittal.
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers, engineering firms, and equipment vendors aligned with corporate standards and yogurt processing technology requirements.
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive quotations for capital assets, installation services, and engineering support.
- Prepare comparative analyses and recommendations for purchasing decisions and capital investment approvals.
- Lead end-to-end project management for yogurt process initiatives, from conceptual design through commissioning, ramp up, project closure, and handover.
- Maintain and distribute comprehensive Project Schedules, identify critical paths, implement mitigation initiatives, and propose acceleration plans to ensure all projects are completed in accordance with the timelines in the Savings Plans and ROI calculations.
- Coordinate and facilitate project review meetings, develop and distribute meeting minutes, and escalate issues or risks to key stakeholders as required.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities to ensure equipment performance aligns with specifications and project objectives.
- Oversee installation, startup, and optimization of yogurt processing systems, resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
- Ensure all projects comply with corporate engineering standards, environmental regulations, food safety requirements, and applicable industry codes.
