The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Engineering Technical Support Tech (Associate and Mid-Level) to join the B-1B Full Scale Fatigue Test team located in Tukwila, Washington .
A successful member of this team will be responsible for managing paper and digital engineering documentation related to inspections and repairs for the Bombers B-1B Full Scale Fatigue Test program.
Position Responsibilities:
* Compiles, analyzes, develops and formats data by utilizing engineering standards, processes and computational tools to provide documentation that assists in the development of engineering life cycle products, services and processes.
* Analyzes documentation/products to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.
* Maintains and improves products (e.g., engineering data, spreadsheets, and documentation), processes and services to ensure consistent quality of data used to accomplish engineering tasks.
* Creates and maintains design documentation by using company/industry standards to communicate the end product to customers.
* Develops and maintains engineering related user documentation to support the design of engineering systems.
* Maintains libraries to ensure accurate data collection for internal and external customers
* Manages test hardware inventory, documentation and places orders for replacement hardware and materials in support of test execution as required
* Organizes data for weekly, monthly, and annual engineering reports and test readiness reviews
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tukwila, Washington.

In this role, the individual will be part of the Software Test team conducting software/hardware integration testing and formal qualification test (FQT) of Aerial Refueling and Mission System Software with a focus on leadership, quality, process improvement, tool improvement and test automation.

The Boeing KC-46 "Pegasus" is the new US Air Force aerial refueling tanker aircraft designed to support multi-role missions including refueling, cargo/passenger transport, and medevac airlift. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking KC-46 Mission Systems Avionics Engineers to join the KC-46 team as equipment managers in Everett, WA or Tukwila, WA . This role will primarily be responsible for supporting engineering design, integration, test, certification, and hardware/software management for assigned mission systems avionics sub-systems.
The Boeing KC-46 Pegasus is the USAF's new aerial refueling tanker aircraft designed to support multi-role missions including refueling, cargo/passenger transport, and medevac airlift. The KC-46 is a military commercial derivative aircraft based on the Boeing 767-2C aircraft and modified per USAF specifications for the primary mission of aerial refueling US and Allied aircraft using either the Hose & Drogue systems or the Boom. The KC-46 is also equipped with a suite of self-defensive and tactical situational awareness systems that allows the aircraft to get closer to the fight when supporting combat missions.

Position Responsibilities:
* Support the engineering design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of the mission avionics systems to ensure seamless integration with software and higher-level systems and platforms.
* Support the design, development, validation, and verification of system level requirements.
* Assist in the development of test plans and procedures in support of certification activities.
* Coordinate system-level integration for mission avionics hardware and software.
* Support the definition and execution of critical tests of various types to validate the performance of designs against system requirements.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Senior Mission Systems Engineer
with a focus on avionics and electrical systems to join our P-8 A Augmented Fleet Support Team in Tukwila, WA .
This position represents Boeing P-8 engineering as an integral part of a multi-disciplined team.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical subject matter experts.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation systems engineering with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service.
This role requires frequent interactions with cross-functional teams, maintenance personnel, and US Navy customers, necessitating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide expert support for the troubleshooting and resolution of mission systems issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on avionics and electrical systems; systems will include, but are not limited to: electrical/electronic, communication & navigation, flight control & avionics systems, mission systems, landing gear, APU, Hydraulic, Fuel, Environmental, and engine systems.
Effectively troubleshoot and resolve difficult, intermittent, chronic, or complex system problems consistent with operational protocols through the P-8 aircraft lifecycle.
Work under minimal direction to support US Navy customer with troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve mission system faults for in service P-8 fleet.
Augment standard troubleshooting and repair technologies with innovative approaches.
Document troubleshooting and repair solutions and supporting data in both Boeing internal and US Navy customer computing systems as applicable.
Lead enhancements, improvements, and revisions to P-8 fleet command media; support updates to operational procedures and documentation relevant to P-8 in service fleet to drive engineering disposition process efficiencies and mitigate recurrent/repeat technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Engineering coordination, independence, and technical acumen along with frequent interaction re: US Military personnel.
Represent P-8 fleet and advocate for customer priorities at internal Boeing meetings.
Coordination and communication with P-8 engineering personnel in Boeing Global Services (BGS), Boeing Defense and Space (BDS), and Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) at all levels.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Additional P-8 Operational sites supported include NAS Whidbey Island, WA and Jacksonville, FL with occasional travel potentially required.
