Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Professional Engineer / Project Manager located in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of public infrastructure and engineering projects. Responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with municipal standards and regulations, and reviewing construction plans and specifications. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and government officials to achieve project objectives and support city initiatives.

Qualifications

In-House Clinical Research Associate I

SUMMARY:

The In-House CRA I is based in the client’s facility and will provide clinical research support and assistance in overseeing the conduct of clinical trials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work to ensure that trials are adhere to study protocols, applicable SOPs, FDA regulations, International Conference for Harmonization (ICH) / Good Clinical Practices (GCP) guidelines, and government regulations.
• Evaluate, monitor, and document study results.
• Exercise good clinical judgment and demonstrate professional conduct when interacting with investigational site personnel and sponsor representatives.
• Monitor Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and study management of multiple sites.
• Additional duties include: document retrieval, archival, informed consent release forms, amendments, etc.
• Responsible for the management of designated clinical trials including investigator recruitment and selection, analysis of potential patient recruitment, preparation of trial related documentation (protocols, case report forms, investigators brochures, consent documents, letters of agreement, confidentiality agreements), organizing Ethics committee submissions with follow through to ensure successful outcome, investigator and study staff training.
• Ensure procedures are in place for appropriate optimization of patients into the clinical trial.
• Planning the requirements for clinical trial material (CTM), ordering CTM, setting up and monitoring the systems whereby the CRA can ship CTM to the investigator, maintaining procedures to account for the CTM, checking the expiration of CTM, and requesting extensions if necessary.
• Approximately 15% local on-site co-monitoring

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-3 years combined experience with at least one of the following:
• Medical device research experience
• In-house pharma CRA experience (strictly Regional CRA experience will be considered)
• Clinical Research Coordinator (site-level Study Coordinator) experience is required in lieu of CRA experience
• On-site monitoring experience is preferred but not required
• Electronic Data Capture (EDC) experience required (non-discriminatory)

Summary/Objective

The Manufacturing Training Specialist will coordinate with all manufacturing facilities personnel to meet and maintain all their training needs. Responsibilities will include tracking and maintaining training programs and records, developing and leading classroom training, training initiatives in the manufacturing plant and other tasking as required. As a leader, the Manufacturing Facilities Training Specialist will be responsible for ensuring Stellar Energy’s highest standards for training, culture and policies are met and adhered to.

Essential Functions

• Overseas and facilitates the Skilled Trades training initiatives and ensures quality training is conducted within their designated trade expertise.
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training programs.
• Counsels and informs Manufacturing Training Specialist Team on training initiatives, training programs, and other initiatives as directed by the Manufacturing Training Manager.
• Observes daily operations in the manufacturing facility to determine the need for new training opportunities.
• Develops and trains employees in operations, safety, and company policies and practices following manuals, specifications, blueprints, and Stellar Energy America standards.
• Writes training products, including outline, text, handouts, and examinations as needed.
• Designs exercises and training practicums, while applying knowledge of electronics and mechanics, and following machine, equipment, and tooling manuals.
• Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lectures, simulations, and videos based upon curriculum for diverse types of audiences and learning delivery methods.
• Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of examination and assessments, and retraining requirements.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required Education and Experience

• Experience in manufacturing facilities (or similar environment) specializing in insulated metal panels, paint, pipe fitting, or structural fitting.
• Verified Experience creating training manuals, online learning modules and course materials.
• Verified Experience delivering training to employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Steel frame construction industry experience a good fit, steel work, skilled trades experience, gas/plumbing environment, construction environment

The Continuous Improvement Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve product quality and operational performance.

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving tools, including 5Y2H, A3, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams, to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and quality issues.
• Develop and manage project charters to define objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables for continuous improvement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Plan, organize, and lead Kaizen events to drive rapid process improvements, engaging cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct process audits and gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing and quality processes, recommending actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to integrate continuous improvement methodologies into daily operations, reducing variability and enhancing product reliability.
• Analyze operational and quality data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, or Excel) to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Train and mentor employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency, quality, and cost savings, providing regular updates to the Director of Quality Manufacturing.
• Support the implementation of automation and technology solutions to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of improvement initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Ensure all continuous improvement activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, supporting Stellar Energy’s sustainability goals.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methodologies such as 5Y2H, A3, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and developing project charters for process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and experience supporting or managing QMS processes.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, or Excel) and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is preferred.

An Imaging Technician III maintains complex medical equipment through effective implementation of the Mayo Clinic Medical Equipment Management Plan. The technician must demonstrate technical skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, repair and QA of x-ray, imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and imaging-related systems typically found in Radiology, Surgery and Cardiology.
Technicians in this position must be exceptionally customer focused with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to prioritize service calls appropriately and adhere to Mayo policy and procedure. The technician must adhere to rules, regulations, and policies regarding radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans in the event of equipment failure. They must also carefully monitor the potential for radiation exposure and work to eliminate unnecessary exposure. They must have advanced analytical skills and be able to solve very complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Service calls are communicated to the technician through HTM Leadership, HTM Support Specialists, or a CMMS dashboard. Emergent calls directly from the customer often require a rapid response time. On-call, overtime, and non-standard shifts will be required, as well as travel to other Mayo Clinic sites and applicable vendor training.
The technician must be committed to continuously improving their knowledge to develop a mastery of increasingly complex equipment and to support the mission of Mayo Clinic.
A Technician III will have a mastery of imaging repair principles, can demonstrate success in the most complex of imaging repairs, and will often work with and share knowledge with less experienced technicians.

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics) and 3 years of related experience; or an Associate's degree in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics), or technical discipline and 5 years of related experience; or U.S. Military training in biomedical electronics, mechatronics, or engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics) and 5 years of related experience. Related experience includes role-relevant equipment repair with a demonstrated increase in responsibility and exposure to highest complexity equipment and must include at least 3 years of maintaining imaging or x-ray systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience include:

• AAMI ACI Certification: AAMI-CBAT, CBET, CRES, CHTM, CISS, CCEACCE-HTCC, CCE
• Vendor training on relevant equipment
• Knowledge of safe work practices around biological, chemical, radiation and energy hazards.
• Familiarity with test and QA tools/software needed to perform medical equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, biology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects (HVAC/Refrigeration & Mechanical projects) from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
• Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates, critical path schedules, and quality control programs.

• Successfully completed multiple large-scale industrial Piping and Ammonia Refrigeration projects for reputable contractors.
• Coaching, mentoring, and teaching project teams.
• Advanced financial management and forecasting experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and self-motivated.
