We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support and enhance our safety culture across multiple active construction sites in Duncan, SC. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards while proactively identifying and mitigating risk in dynamic work environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in the field and in office settings, engaging directly with crews and leadership, and driving accountability through strong communication and consistent enforcement of safety expectations. You will be responsible for helping implement and maintain both company and client safety programs, while serving as a key resource for hazard recognition, incident prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926 standards and applicable regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections across multiple active job sites with varying scopes of work
- Lead and facilitate team safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Communicate effectively with field teams, management, and vendors
- Implement and enforce company safety programs, including vendor safety policies
- Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and track mitigation efforts
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective/preventative actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation (JSAs, incident reports, and training records)
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with company and client safety requirements
- Support new hire safety orientations and ongoing training initiatives
- Perform safety audits and participate in internal and external compliance audits
- Report key safety metrics (near misses, corrective actions) to appropriate entities
- Ensure proper use of PPE, MEWPs, forklifts, and other safety equipment
- Coordinate with project management to integrate safety into daily operations and planning
- Enforce safety procedures related to high-risk activities such as fall protection, excavations and LOTO, hot work activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction safety
- Degree in/or certifications in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field
- OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus)
- Can work in a Federal Trade Zone (FTZ)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- CPR/First Aid Certification a plus
- Spanish proficiency a plus
Project Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to develop detailed and competitive cost estimates for custom equipment, systems, and technical projects. This role partners with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to evaluate customer requirements, clarify scope, and generate accurate proposals. The position plays a key role in supporting business growth by ensuring projects are clearly defined, properly priced, and positioned for successful execution.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications, drawings, RFQs, and technical documentation to determine project scope and requirements
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, components, fabrication, and subcontracted services
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to define solution concepts and pricing strategies
- Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotations for purchased equipment, components, and services
- Prepare formal proposals, pricing summaries, and project scope documentation
- Evaluate project risks, schedules, and technical considerations during the estimating process
- Support project handoff meetings to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution teams
- Track estimate accuracy by reviewing completed project costs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Assist with value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience estimating technical projects, equipment, or engineered systems
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or production processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience estimating material costs, purchased components, and subcontracted services
- Ability to develop accurate labor estimates based on production capabilities and processes
- Experience working with bills of materials (BOMs) and cost breakdown structures
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and estimate tracking
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineered solutions environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and estimating software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines

SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator for Landscape Construction supports the Landscape Construction Division by managing the full scope of backend administrative and coordination functions across all projects. This role ensures projects are properly set up, documented, tracked, and supported from pre-construction through closeout using Aspire ERP and RL’s internal systems.
As a key support partner to the Senior Project Manager and Landscape Construction Management Team, this position brings structure, organization, and accountability to every phase of a project.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for PRs, POs, subcontractor agreements, and cross functional coordination with Finance and Accounting to ensure operational requirements are submitted accurately and on time.
This role also provides foundational exposure to project management and offers long-term growth potential into an Assistant Project Manager role for the right candidate!
Essential Job Functions:
Project Administration & Aspire Management:
- Manage project setup, documentation, and administrative workflows within Aspire ERP.
- Create and maintain accurate project records, budgets, schedules, and job files.
- Process and track Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure project data remains clean, compliant, and consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Project Managers with reporting, tracking, and documentation needs..
Subcontractor Agreements & Compliance
- Prepare, track, and manage subcontractor agreements for Landscape Construction projects.
- Ensure all subcontractor documentation is complete, signed, and properly filed.
- Coordinate with Operations and Finance to support subcontractor compliance and payment readiness.
- Maintain an organized subcontractor documentation and tracking system.
Operational & Finance Coordination:
- Partner with the Finance and Accounting teams to meet operational submission requirements.
- Submit proper documentation for billing, job costing, and reconciliation.
- Assist with invoice processing and approval workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and Finance to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Project Lifecycle Support:
- Support projects from pre-construction setup through final closeout.
- Track administrative milestones and deadlines to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assist Operations Managers, Field Supervisors and Project Managers with documentation, reporting, and compliance needs.
- Ensure consistency and organization across all active projects.
Organization & Process Control:
- Establish and maintain strong systems for organization, tracking, and follow up.
- Enforce structure and accountability in project documentation and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to administrative and project processes.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and consistency across all projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Entry level to 3 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, or operations support preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and operate ERP systems such as Aspire and Microsoft Office tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across field, management, and Finance teams.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn project coordination and construction operations.

Night‑Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Duncan, SC
Schedule: 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift Structure: Rotational schedule with five consecutive days off every three weeks
Overview
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support a modern, automated manufacturing facility operating on the principles of Safety, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The operation features highly automated assembly lines, advanced manufacturing execution systems, and equipment requiring multi‑craft maintenance expertise.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role supporting both production and site‑wide operations.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on automated production and facility equipment. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and machining skills, with the ability to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain complex production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Support automated equipment including motors, conveyor systems, AGVs, PLC‑controlled machinery, and instrumentation
Install new machinery and move equipment as needed, including rigging, alignment, and hookups
Perform advanced preventive maintenance, including disassembly, reassembly, lubrication, calibration, and critical adjustments
Fabricate and weld components as needed
Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety requirements, and support continuous improvement
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and leadership to minimize downtime
Maintain tools, workspace organization, and personal toolbox
Support TPM/Lean activities and plant reliability goals
Required Qualifications
2–4+ years industrial maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
Strong multi‑craft skill set including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining
Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC‑controlled equipment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and computer skills
Ability to stand, climb, bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must supply personal hand tools and toolbox
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field
Certifications in electrical, HVAC, machining, or mechanical disciplines
Experience in automotive, high‑speed manufacturing, or other automated production environments

You'll develop PLC logic, engineer electrical systems, program embedded controls, and lead technology upgrades, from concept through implementation.

- Design, build, and maintain automated machines and systems, integrating electrical, mechanical, and software components
- Develop PLC logic, embedded controls, and HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk View / Wonderware)
- Support manufacturing goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Investigate machine uptime, trends, and controls functionality to prevent downtime
- Lead programming‑focused capital projects from concept to full operational handoff
- Identify and execute upgrades to obsolete components, drives, and software
- Engineer machine modifications and equipment improvements with minimal production disruption
- Support and help develop proactive maintenance programs, PM tasks, and work instructions
- Troubleshoot electromechanical systems and partner with maintenance to resolve issues
- Assist with plant utilities, services, and general facility support
- Maintain organized project files and update all controls documentation
- 2-5 years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Automation/Controls preferred)
- Strong experience with:
- PLC systems & programming
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming/troubleshooting (2-5 years)
- Plant communication systems (Ethernet IP, ControlNet)
- HMI programming: FactoryTalk View or Wonderware
- Power distribution & control
- Planned maintenance and industrial troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- ERP experience a plus
- Industry experience in roll label, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
