  • The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise seller with deep experience selling IT services and consulting solutions into Google, who thrives in complex environments, proactively opens doors, and creates opportunities through strong relationships, business insight, and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Opportunity Hunting & Deal Origination
  • Proactively identify, hunt, and create new project opportunities across Google business units and teams
  • Drive net-new consulting and IT services deals, from opportunity identification through closure
  • Build and manage a healthy, forward-looking pipeline focused on services-led growth
  • Consultative Services Sales

  • Client Relationship Building
  • Establish and expand relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and buyers within Google
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments to uncover unmet needs and growth opportunities
  • Build credibility as a trusted advisor focused on long-term value, not transactional selling

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or client partner roles within IT services or consulting organizations
  • Proven, hands-on experience selling IT services and consulting solutions into Google
  • Strong background in consultative, solution-oriented selling (not product-only sales)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise technology services such as cloud, application development, data & analytics, AI, and managed services
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt, originate, and close complex services deals
  • Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in a high-ownership, IC role

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Background working with hyperscalers, Big Tech, or Fortune 100 enterprises

  • Strong, self-generated pipeline with clear conversion to revenue
  • Expanded services footprint across multiple Google teams
  • Recognition as a trusted, consultative services partner
  • High deal ownership with minimal dependency on others for opportunity creation

Why This Role

  • Pure hunter role focused on opportunity creation and deal ownership
  • High-visibility enterprise account with long-term growth potential
  • No people management — success is measured by impact and revenue, not team size
  • Opportunity to sell high-value consulting and IT services at scale

Mechanical Engineer – Building Systems & HVAC Performance {Bellevue / Redmond, WA}

Commercial Buildings | HVAC Systems | BAS / BMS | Chiller Plants | Central Plant | Building Performance

Role at a glance

Role: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Bellevue / Redmond, WA (Hybrid)

Hybrid: Typically ~3 days on site

Experience: 5-15 years of mechanical engineering experience

Focus: Commercial HVAC systems, central plant infrastructure, and building performance

Salary: $110k – $140k base + bonus

Element Six is retained by a specialist engineering advisory firm supporting large-scale technology campuses and complex commercial building portfolios across North America. The company works directly with owners and operators to improve how HVAC and mechanical systems perform in operation. For mechanical engineers interested in applying their expertise beyond drawings and construction projects, this role offers the chance to work on real building performance, operational optimisation, and large-scale commercial environments.

Why this role is worth a look

Many mechanical engineers spend most of their careers designing systems they rarely see operate.

This role focuses on how HVAC and mechanical systems perform once buildings are operational.

Engineers work across active commercial buildings, analysing system performance, identifying inefficiencies, and helping clients plan improvements to HVAC infrastructure and building automation environments.

Rather than working on a single large design project, engineers typically manage multiple initiatives across building portfolios and work closely with facilities teams and operators.

What you will own

  • Analyse HVAC and mechanical system performance across commercial buildings
  • Identify system inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation
  • Review mechanical system designs and upgrade strategies
  • Work with facilities teams, engineers, and contractors
  • Deliver technical recommendations to improve building performance
  • Manage multiple engineering initiatives across building portfolios

What success looks like

First 90 Days: Build familiarity with the building environments, systems, and engineering initiatives across the client portfolio.

By 6 Months: Independently manage multiple engineering initiatives and deliver actionable recommendations to improve HVAC performance, efficiency, and operational reliability.

Year One: Operate as a trusted engineering resource, helping clients improve building performance across their portfolios.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • 5–15 years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience working with commercial HVAC systems such as chiller plants, AHUs, chilled water systems, VAV systems, fan coils, or central plant infrastructure
  • Experience applying mechanical engineering in commercial office buildings, campuses, large facilities, or similarly complex environments
  • Experience in building automation systems and building controls environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with facilities teams and client stakeholders
  • A background in consulting engineering, building services engineering, commissioning, facilities engineering, or HVAC system optimisation
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus, but not required

If this sounds like work you have already done, reach out, and we can share more details about the client and projects involved.

Project Manager
🏢 Aquent
Salary not disclosed
Redmond, WA 1 week ago

The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

A typical day in this role begins with reviewing recent Alarm Flood IcMs and recurring alarm trends across supported sites to understand where alarm performance is creating operational risk or inefficiency. The program manager assesses severity, frequency, and impact to prioritize improvement opportunities and determine where engagement with site teams is most needed.

Daily work centers on close collaboration with site Operations, Engineering, and Instrumentation/Controls teams. Rather than implementing changes directly, the role facilitates discussions around alarms currently impacting operators, helps teams evaluate improvement options, and drives alignment on changes to alarm design—such as setpoints, delays, deadbands, suppression logic, or state‑based alarming—to reduce alarm volume and improve alarm quality.

The role actively participates in local and regional alarm management forums, representing the Global Alarm Management Program. In these settings, the program manager ensures proposed changes align with program standards and best practices, clearly articulates expectations, and tracks actions to ensure improvements deliver measurable reductions in nuisance alarms while maintaining safe and reliable operations.

In parallel, the program manager partners with the broader Global Alarm Management team to identify site‑level improvements that may be candidates for broader adoption. This includes evaluating scalability, risk, and applicability across similar systems and regions, and helping translate local successes into repeatable, global solutions.

Throughout the day, the role balances data‑driven prioritization, stakeholder coordination, and program oversight—ensuring alarm management initiatives remain focused on outcomes: alarms that support operators by clearly identifying abnormal conditions requiring action, without contributing to alarm fatigue or operational overload.

The ideal resume would contain demonstrated experience across the entire alarm management lifecycle, including concrete examples of analyzing data, implementing alarm changes, and driving global feedback and improvements, rather than experience limited to a single phase or function.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.

• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

• PMI or PMP certification preferred.

• 2-4 years’ experience required.
