Night‑Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Duncan, SC
Schedule: 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift Structure: Rotational schedule with five consecutive days off every three weeks
Overview
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support a modern, automated manufacturing facility operating on the principles of Safety, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The operation features highly automated assembly lines, advanced manufacturing execution systems, and equipment requiring multi‑craft maintenance expertise.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role supporting both production and site‑wide operations.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on automated production and facility equipment. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and machining skills, with the ability to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain complex production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Support automated equipment including motors, conveyor systems, AGVs, PLC‑controlled machinery, and instrumentation
Install new machinery and move equipment as needed, including rigging, alignment, and hookups
Perform advanced preventive maintenance, including disassembly, reassembly, lubrication, calibration, and critical adjustments
Fabricate and weld components as needed
Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety requirements, and support continuous improvement
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and leadership to minimize downtime
Maintain tools, workspace organization, and personal toolbox
Support TPM/Lean activities and plant reliability goals
Required Qualifications
2–4+ years industrial maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
Strong multi‑craft skill set including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining
Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC‑controlled equipment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and computer skills
Ability to stand, climb, bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must supply personal hand tools and toolbox
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field

Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of IS projects within the Transport Management System (TMS) perimeter for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with strategic Value Tower Supply Chain objectives regarding scope, timing, and budget.

Main Responsibilities
- Technical Services and Emergency Support
- Provide guidance and support for equipment installation, electrical system commissioning, and final acceptance testing at major project sites.
- Provide on-site/remote electrical technical support for major project sites and define repair plans.
- Respond to emergency service calls, rapidly diagnose and resolve deep-level electrical technical issues such as electrical component anomalies/malfunctioning to minimize system downtime
- Technical Breakthrough and Business Support
- Serve as the company's internal after-sales technical advisor, providing remote/on-site technical support and solutions for complex issues encountered by frontline after-sales service engineers.
