A successful Estimator shall be able to complete all required take-offs, Requests for Proposal package reviews, and site reviews required to prepare any proposal. This position will attend project related meetings and site visits when required, complete site visits and scope discussions with assigned Superintendent or his designee, and clearly communicate the project requirements and basis for their estimate during bid reviews.

• Regularly updating cost databases to accurately reflect fluctuating material and labor costs.
• Evaluating labor and material costs to determine whether it is more feasible to construct electrical components or sub-contract the construction of components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience in construction management, engineering, math, science, or years in the trade and prior estimating experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to manage replacement parts (aftermarket) orders within the Global Parts & Services organization. The Project Manager reports to the Regional Manager and may also coordinate and manage field managed contracts as required through the District Engineer. The PM is responsible for the management of customer orders across all products within the B&W aftermarket portfolio and works to complete customer orders accurately within schedule and financial commitments.

Execute projects ranging in contract structure and scope. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of the project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project. • Develops alternate technical and commercial strategies in support of sales, marketing and product development.
