This manager will report to the VP of SC and lead a team of Customer Service Specialist to streamline the customer orders processing, optimize the order process from demand, distribution, warehouses, manufacturing, engineering and import/export, maintain and develop customer relations and ensure quality standard of products, collaborate with finance, supply chain, procurement, logistics, independent sales reps to ensure timely process of accounting, PO processing, purchasing, R&D, manufacturing, achieve highest accurate rate on order fulfillment with minimum operational cost across travel time, and inventory. Responsibilities:

• Report to VP of Operations and lead a team of Customer Service Specialists to streamline order processing for customer sales orders; staff train and develop the team to deliver supreme customer service and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, procurement, logistics, and distribution to optimize supply chain processes, reduce travel time, and increase order fulfillment rate on accuracy, quality, on-time and within budget metrics.
• Resolve customer complaints and supply chain bottlenecks in an effective and timely manner, deliver corrective action to reduce recurring issues.
• Collaborate with S&OP team and other Supply Chain Team to achieve process improvement, reduce cost on transportation, travel time, and inventory and not jeopardize on-time order fulfillment.
• Maintain, develop customer relations; support troubleshooting sales order issues involving quality, delay, backordered, recall, identify root cause and support the implementation of corrective action and CI to reduce recurring errors.
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing team to ensure realistic expectation from new customers, properly set up new customers in the ERP Systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing on change of order requests from customers, support new product development process and ensure new products are set up in the CRM system, update customers on product application, change of order status, design status, and manufacturing status as needed.
• Provide hands on leadership and mentoring to subordinate, develop, standardize and implement operational procedure for the customer service department, develop KPI to measure and improve customer service performance across volume, accuracy, responsiveness, etc.
• Attending management meetings and routine S&OP meetings, address potential bottlenecks, issues regarding customer accounts, sales order process, cost reduction, productivity, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Recent years of hands-on leadership experience within Manufacturing, Order fulfillment, Customer Account Management within manufacturing industries, exposure to consumer products, contract manufacturing desired.

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Inspector is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity and quality of materials and components. This role involves utilizing various NDT methods to detect and evaluate defects or irregularities without damaging the test subjects. We are currently looking for a Pipe Welder Shop to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Welder is responsible for the prep, layout, tack, weld, test, complex pipe spools and complex piping systems to work packages, drawings, PI&Ds per ASME B31.1 and MIL TP278, to production schedule under the guidance of the shop superintendent.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform pipe welding with pipe fitting experience using knowledge of codes and specifications
  
• Reads and deciphers work packages, work scope, engineered drawings, and PI&Ds
  
• Works with the pipe shop group with a focus on quality, customer compliance, and schedule
  
• Assemble piping spools, weld, test, and assure all shop packages are complete, and work is compliant before presenting to QA
  
• Assures welding equipment is in good working condition and reports any malfunctions or maintenance needed
  
• Have all personal gear to perform pipe welding and fitting including welding gear, measuring devices, levels square, etc. maintained in good condition

• High school Graduate, related to Trade school and no less than 5 years work history/experience in this industry required
  
• Have experience in GTAW processes. Must qualify to Pipe in the 6-G position Per ASME Section IX using the GTAW process. Experience in structural welding using GMAW in various positions to AWS D1.1. Proven past welding qualification history is a plus
  
• Decipher welding symbols, reads, and follows work packages, drawings, PI&Ds, and blueprints
  
• Use various measuring equipment
  
• Full range of mechanical knowledge as well as the ability to fabricate and install piping on equipment as specified on drawings and PI&Ds

Description:

The Director of Operations will oversee all production and facility operations at ALIGN Precision Philadelphia, ensuring seamless execution across precision machining, assembly, and cleanroom environments. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service for our weekend operations. This position will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing. The successful candidate must keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership.

Specifically:

• Manage production Line Managers
• Execute production build plans as defined by Director of Manufacturing; meet customer performance, quality, and delivery
• Ensure 100% accurate execution of process steps per authorized Work Instructions by properly trained personnel
• Continually monitor and optimize staffing placement, development, and needs
• Define and track training program for all production staff
• Take ownership and demonstrate excellence; production areas shall exemplify discipline, cleanliness, quality, and control
• Confirm all Quality Documents are being completed properly and in a timely fashion
• Monitor and manage yield loss scrap so that corrective actions can be implemented quickly
• Drive continuous improvement through observations shared and discussed with Director of Manufacturing and Product Engineering
• Ensure that equipment and quality issues are resolved through Engineering

Requirements:

• B.S. in Operations Management or a technical discipline
• 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, inclusive of supervisory roles of multi-shift operations
• Ability to plan equipment capacity, staffing, space and material flow in a high technology manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop strong Line Managers and Process Leads
• Demonstrated experience in establishing teams and personnel development planning in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

• Shift management of 10-20 Production Technicians and Assembly/Test Operators
• Understand area production goals and how they link to meet customer delivery requirements; execute build plans to meet shipment schedules
• Continually evaluate and identify staffing needs and excesses to meet goals while minimizing cost; assign the appropriate level of staff for each process step
• Evaluate all staff for development potential and performance management
• Ensure accurate execution of process steps per authorized work instructions by properly trained personnel; ensure all staff maintain process proficiency with documented training records
• Ensure inventory accuracy by timely and accurate recording of materials consumed, scrapped, or quarantined
• Manage yield loss scrap promptly so that corrective actions can be implemented quickly
• Ensure that equipment and quality issues are resolved timely, whether through production, engineering, or customer resources
• Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the department including all work surfaces, equipment, racks and the floor.

Requirements:

• 4 years of operations experience in a leadership role
• B.S. in Operations Management or a technical discipline is preferred
• Experience with standard spreadsheet applications is required; experience with ERP systems is preferred
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments with all levels
• Possess a sense of urgency to resolve problems
• Demonstrated experience in training or developing personnel in an operations environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
