Job Title: Office Assistant (Contract)
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM / Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project administration and operational coordination within a fast-paced environment. This role will assist with project documentation, communication, and tracking while working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage a high-volume shared inbox, responding to requests and routing inquiries to the appropriate teams.
- Communicate with internal teams through Microsoft Teams messaging to coordinate project updates and requests.
- Prepare and compile project documentation and packets, ensuring materials are complete and distributed accurately.
- Perform data entry and job code tracking, maintaining accurate records and project status updates.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for sorting, filtering, and basic tracking of project data.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and warehouse staff to help move projects through different stages.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation, ensuring proper version control of project files.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting technical, engineering, or manufacturing teams.
- Ability to review or interpret engineering drawings is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling project numbers and job codes.
- Comfortable working in an operational or warehouse-adjacent environment.

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Machine Tech III, Screw Machine in our Fullerton, CA location.
Specific Responsibilities:
- With minimum assistance from Lead, the operator will perform all standard set up within standard time on router; operating, troubleshooting, and machine service as required.
- Adjust machining parts, tooling, including sharpening tools on surface grinders or pedestal grinders.
- Set-up and operation of equipment - Multiple Spindle (Davenport/Chucker).
- Responsible for producing and maintaining high level quality parts per print specifications.
- Work with various types of material such as Titanium, Aluminum, and other stainless steel.
- Perform first piece verification process per part print as required.
- Run multiple machines as required which maintaining high quality parts, efficiency, and productivity per standard time on router.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule.
- Take initiative to perform daily 5S in assigned area and machinery.
- Active involvement in autonomous maintenance and process improvements initiatives.
- Understand and perform statistical process control.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-years' experience operating machinery.

The Safety, Health & Environmental Manager (SHE) will provide oversight, directions, and be accountable for the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs for dsm-firmenich manufacturing operations in Anaheim, CA. Additionally, will be responsible for the SHE management of the overall site including offices and laboratories. They will also serve as the site's initial point of contact for safety and environmental related questions.
Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting and providing process maintenance and continuous improvement for all safety programs of the Anaheim, CA location, which include hands on assistance, program implementation, training, and organization of monthly meetings and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHA and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich's SHE Policies and Procedures. Responsible that these policies and procedures are implemented throughout the organization and all related activities under the position's jurisdiction. Leads site SHE-S audits and environmental programs to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials management, hazardous waste management (both chemical and biological), wastewater, and DOT regulations (Local, State and Federal). Interfaces with regulatory agencies and authorities as appropriate.
- Records and tracks injury and safety related data to derive performance metrics for analysis of trends and reporting metrics to upper management. Shapes proposals on how to help foster positive trends while mitigating negative trends.
- Supports line management and promotes a culture of safety in manufacturing, office, and laboratory environments.
- Provides guidance and support which ensures compliance for the safe work permitting process (e.g., hot-work, lock-out tag-out try-out, work at height, ergonomics, hazardous material), including writing and issuing permits. Auditing all documents related to the permits.

Your bring
- BS/BA/MS in Scientific or Engineering discipline; a degree in Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of SHE experiences making decisions which affect employee health & safety or facility compliance along with experience in managing laboratory operations.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of all applicable California and federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and experience in auditing compliance thereto.
- Practical experience in health, safety and environmental areas including lockout-tagout-tryout, work at heights, lifting and hoisting, inspections and audits of the safety program, root cause analysis, health risk assessment, risk reduction training, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, etc.; proven track record of success establishing meaningful, interpersonal relationships through the ability to influence, with personnel at all levels.
- Must have ability to effectively communicate safety, health, and environmental processes and requirements, including experience with computer-based training systems, Microsoft Word (i.e. procedure documentation and formatting), Excel (i.e. creating workbooks, writing formulas with functions) and PowerPoint (i.e. creating slides for training and presentations).
- Preference for candidates holding active safety certification (CHMM, ASP, CSP). Must be able to support and facilitate 24/7 response to emergencies related to facility operations and safety/security events
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $95,000-$150,000.

Join our Pump Services team within Rotating Equipment Services division in Santa Fe Springs, CA as a Late Shift Machinist and help us take our Service Center to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
* Performing layouts, setting up and operating conventional machine tools as required
* Reading and interpreting all drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
* Designing setup methods where none exist
* Instructing other shop personnel on proper machining techniques
* Continually improving methods to deliver higher quality with improved costs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Completion of a machinist apprentice program or equivalent training
* Ability to hold close tolerances and conduct component inspections
* Ability to setup machine tools: ID / OD Grinders, Turret Lathe, Engine Lathe, Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Boring Mill, Radial Drill, Planer Mill
* Four years of experience in machine shop operations
* Willingness to work in a team environment
* Openness to working overtime as required

Performs the in-process and final inspection of products used in airframe and missile manufacturing. Analyze engineering blueprints, process specifications, shop travelers and manufacturing planning documents to determine nature and extent of inspection requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines most practical inspection method and technique; plans sequence of operation; selects precision measuring instruments and equipment to dimensionally inspect units. Performs surface table inspections using standard positioning, measuring and layout instruments and equipment. Uses shop mathematics, decimals and fractions in the performance of the work noted herein.
- Conducts first article, receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection assignments; visually and dimensionally inspects a wide variety of airframes parts and aerospace assemblies/components.
- Witness's first piece part production and certifies acceptability; observes and performs in-process inspection during component build-up and sub-assembly stages; performs final assembly inspection and observes testing operations to assure quality, workmanship and strict compliance with Arrowhead, military space and commercial specifications and standards.
- Inspects incoming metallic and fiber materials, plastic and rubber compounds for correct formulation call- out, serialization, identification, cure date and shelf life; verifies vendor and material certifications; checks heat codes, batch and lot numbers to assure product tractability; certifies the proper mixing and blending of bonding agents and adhesives. Inspects reinforced plastic and rubber products for delaminating, blisters, porosity, bond, elasticity, gauge surface smoothness and similar defects or characteristics. Checks configuration and part dimensions with or without the aid of assembly check gauges, fixtures and tooling. Prepares shipping data package for non-metal (soft goods) components/assemblies in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitors oven and cure processes and records temperature readings and dwell time; performs or observes pressurization and leak test using plant air, nitrogen and helium.
- Prepare rework tags, inspection reports and documentation. Coordinates rejection with MRB, engineering and customer representatives for depositions and process refinement. Assembles end item documentation for the review and acceptance of finished products. Prepares and maintains history files, records and reports.

Education and Experience
- Requires High School degree or GED. Related AA or trade school degree preferred.
- Requires 2+ years of related Quality Assurance inspection experience. Experience must include interface with customer source representatives, government sources, internal departments and senior management.

- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred
- Experience working in AS9100 production environment preferred
- Must be able to read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to determine requirements.
- Must be proficient in the use of basic inspection tools, calipers, scales, height gauges, optical aids, micrometers and GD&T.
- Must have experience with production processes such as assembly, forming, tooling, welding (fusion & resistance), heat treat, cleaning
- Must have experience with production machinery and equipment such as press forming, tube bending and other fabrication.
- Must have knowledge of metallic materials such as stainless, nickel, titanium, aluminum.
- Must have experience with composites materials and production processes such as elastomers, resins, and composite reinforcement material.
- Must be familiar with AS9102 standards and software, and military specifications.
- Experience using Net-Inspect standards and software preferred.
- Must interface effective across organizational levels.
- Must have good organizational skills and maintain accurate, complete documentation.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be proficient with the use of the Internet, MS Word/Outlook.

Special Requirements
- Working knowledge of NetInspect, Inspection Expert, AS9100, AS9101, Boeing, Northrop, Lockheed Martin, UTAS, Honeywell, and DCMA specifications.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is expected to be achieved within 12 months from the first day of employment.
