*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Must have at least two years of experience in religious education or church leadership.
* Must hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have experience as an educator.
* Must possess strong knowledge of Protestant Bible narratives, themes, and literacy.
* Must provide a letter of good standing from a Protestant Church overseer.
* Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English (written and oral).
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, social media management, and digital document creation.
* Must have the interpersonal ski ls to work effectively with military members, families, and diverse chapel staff.
* Must be able to manage basic accounting, supply inventory, and bi ling invoices.
* Must have or be able to obtain access to Naval Base Guam.
* Must pass a comprehensive Criminal History Background Check and adhere to al Navy professional standards.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Plan and run a ful Christian Religious Education program, including children’s church, smal groups, and special events.
* Select teaching materials for in-person or digital use and create flyers/social media posts to promote activities.
* Recruit, screen, and train al volunteers while keeping accurate records and organizing appreciation awards.
* Reserve chapel spaces, manage supply inventories, and submit budget requests for materials.
* Maintain event files, attend meetings, and provide a qualified substitute when you are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

The Person:
To succeed as a Protestant Director of Religious Education Services, you will need:
- At least 2 years’ experience in religious education or church leadership
