Special Education Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Plan Development: Create effective lesson plans to be submitted each Friday for the following week. Plans should accommodate various student levels, include procedures for assessing knowledge, outline the content standards addressed, and specify the curriculum used.
• Supervision of Paraprofessionals: Oversee and direct paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom. While Program Supervisors and Site Administrators will assist in supervision, it is the teacher's primary responsibility in the classroom.
• Implementation of PBIS Program (in placements where Applicable) :Manage the classroom's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program, including tracking behavior points, maintaining the student store, and communicating with parents/guardians. Ensure daily documentation of behavioral data in Point Quest's database.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a classroom environment that prioritizes student engagement and safety, implementing the behavior plan, modifying state-adopted curriculum, and employing strategies to effectively teach students with various disabilities.
• IEP Meetings and Documentation: Attend IEP meetings for students assigned to the classroom. Write updates for each student's annual IEP in coordination with the school district, and enter all IEP updates (Present Levels, BIP, ITP, and Goals) into SEIS 7 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff and outside agencies to effectively educate each student.
• Instructional Planning: Plan instruction and design learning experiences based on data. Conduct summative assessments with each student no less than three times per year.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including twice-monthly teacher meetings and monthly all-staff trainings. Teachers are encouraged to engage in additional professional development outside of Point Quest.

Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Special Education strongly recommended. Valid Special Education Credential (Intern, Preliminary, Clear, Level 1, Level 2 acceptable). Educational Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities, depending on classroom assignment.
• Experience: 2-5 years working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs. Experience in running a special day class and implementing curriculum and behavior interventions.
• Skills: Proficient in written and verbal English, including business writing and professional communication. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Computer-literate with knowledge of standard software applications and internet.
• Certifications & Clearances: Applicable State Level Certification

Special Education Teacher Physical Demands:

• Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
• Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preschool Director Required Skills:

• Proven leadership experience at an early childhood facility with multiple classrooms and programs

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university combined with 6+ months of experience in the group care of children – or –

• Must be EEC - Director II Certified in the State of MA

• Must have the ability to travel.
• Must have the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preschool Director Responsibilities:

Education and Curriculum

• The Preschool Director ensures successful implementation of approved preschool curriculum by providing and maintaining quality educational programs
• Maintains compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and preschool policies and procedures
• Extensive knowledge and understanding National and State Education Standards and maintaining the school at a level exceeding these standards
• Practice effective counseling and advising of students and parents while fostering a safe learning environment
• Emphasizing student’s achievement and create an environment that nurtures and promotes children’s’ development and well-being
• Knowledge and experience in effective communication protocols
• Ensures environment maintains safe, organized, and meeting the high-quality standards of Cadence Education
• Knowledge and experience in team processes for advancing learning outcomes
• Participate in marketing events, campaigns, and community relations

Leadership and Managing Performance

• The Preschool Director upholds company standards and set the example by consistently modeling professional leadership, management and instructional skills while interacting with others. Demonstrates consistency in words and actions
• Clearly communicates preschool standards, guidelines, and preschool policies to all staff and stress their importance to the organization
• Ability to train a staff of 20-40 and oversee the completion of performance appraisals, supervise the development of individualized goals for staff’s professional growth and development, as well as supervise the monitoring and evaluation of goal accomplishment
• Recruit and hire new staff

Financial Management

• Analyzes financial profit and loss results, customer satisfaction measures, and other key performance data to make the best decisions for the success of our preschool
• Manages preschool to achieve and exceed planned financial and enrollment targets
• Reviews and operates budget and demonstrates an understanding of the process
• Continually seeks ways to manage and reduce expenses without sacrificing quality or service; balances profitability with priorities related to staff and our children and families
• Can interact externally with current enrollment and prospect parents, external curriculum activities and vendors

Position Purpose: Our Bakers will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the Bakery department. A Baker has a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation and will be able to help in production and merchandising while offering unmatched customer service.

Responsibilities: A Baker is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Baker's responsibilities include:

• Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, frying, decorating, finishing and merchandising quality bakery products using Bashas' recipes.
• Loading and unloading the oven, knowing the proper temperatures and duration to bake all varieties of product,
• Scaling cakes and cupcakes, ice sweet rolls, breads and cookies, etc.
• Assisting in the ordering and receiving of bakery products and supplies.
• Controlling product inventory and out of stocks, shrink and supplies.
• Using scale printer machine, ensuring weights and pricing are correct.
• Understanding the importance and the monitoring of product pricing, signage, and placement as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.
• Keeping a clean, neat and orderly bench, production area, storage area, and walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Helping in the wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing, and stocking bakery department products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.
• Displaying goods following bakery department and/or merchandising guidelines.
• Helping decorators with personalization of cakes and icing of cakes, donuts, sweet rolls and etc.
• All other related duties as assigned

Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities:

• Treatment Planning: Create and deliver treatment programs for students ages 3 and up based on their IEPs or medical plans. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to set goals and accommodations. Oversee and support Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed.
• Data Collection & Documentation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' needs, perform initial and ongoing assessments, and complete annual and triennial reviews. Maintain timely and compliant documentation, and provide detailed reports on student progress.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state where services are delivered or eligibility to obtain such licensure.
• Experience: Preferred experience in school or treatment settings with students facing learning or social-emotional challenges, including involvement with IEPs.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
