Summary of the position:
The Field Service Manager’s core responsibility is to the HAC customer experience as well as training and developing the organization’s field service technicians. The role includes managing a team of service technicians, guidance and support for the HAC technician advancement program, technician follow up calls, in person training on all systems, customer in person visits and assists on the direct contact for maintaining the customer relationships. This position works in cooperation with the Service Operations Manager in implementing and managing the HAC’s service procedures. The candidate should exhibit dynamic leadership and communication skills with an emphasis on team building and customer engagement.
Duties and responsibilities:
- High Level Business Objectives:
- Work with Service Operations Manager to develop a market strategy aimed toward account retention and services growth in the region.
- Coordinate with General Manager on select activities/initiatives to improve the customer experience and improve store profitability.
- Develop a team of highly knowledgeable and motivated Service Technicians and assist in them achieving their personal and professional goals.
- Provide training and billable service work as required
- Services Leadership:
- Work with Service Operations Manager to facilitate a plan to always provide reliable 24-hour emergency service support for our customer base.
- Identify potential service technician candidates and work with HR to bring them to the company to enhance the team and meet the objectives of the company.
- Assess performance of service technicians.
- Ensure that all service technicians are trained and receive certifications in all relevant aspects of industrial equipment repair and maintenance commensurate with their tenure with the company.
- Ensure all service personnel have a working knowledge of all computer programs supplied them by the company to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them.
- Maintain technician staffing at appropriate levels for business requirements.
- Ensure warranty work is completed in accordance with manufacturer flat rate guidelines while assisting the warranty coordinator in providing required documentation for efficient claims processing.
- Responsible for professionalism of service technicians, cleanliness of trucks, providing and maintaining the fleet of specialized tools, and maintaining a relationship with our uniform supplier in cooperation with the Director of Operations in keeping with the Hitachi/Sullair brand.
- Compliance/Miscellaneous:
- Work with EHS Manager to ensure compliance of EH&S policies in accordance with organizational and local requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, working environment.
- Attend training with the Sullair factory to stay current on product offerings and technologies.
- Travel as required to drive business activity and attend training. 80% Field / 20% Office
- Demonstrate flexibility/teamwork as additional items will be required to help grow the business.
- May involve multi-branch location responsibilities
Education:
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Technical Training/Certifications in the compressed air industry is a plus.
- High School Diploma Required
Position Requirements:
- Five plus years field service experience in the compressed air industry.
- Proven leadership experience with strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft office suite.
- Experience with ERP systems a plus.

Wabtec is seeking a qualified Sales/Service Representative to join our team Sales Department. The ideal candidate will meet or exceed customer needs while fulfilling the sales goals of Wabtec Bus Solutions within a multi-state regional area. Responsible for sales/service activities and service calls for end users within region and OEM Support and Account management.
What will your typical day look like?
- Applicant will be responsible for maintaining and servicing several OEM in the region including training and account management.
- Responsible to promote, sell, and secure new business while maintaining and managing existing accounts.
- Develop new business opportunities with customers served while ensuring Wabtec Bus Solutions products specifications are written in current and future orders for bid.
- Provide accurate sales forecast and market data to Regional and National Manager.
- Position may require up to 80% travel to customer, sister companies, Trade shows and to Vapor (Chicago) and Ricon (San Fernando).
- Demonstrated competency in managing contracts and OEM customers.
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage a home office as well as be an effective time and territory manager.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate unique selling points to a broad audience including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Safety professional because of the custom engineered product offerings.
- 3 years of relevant sales experience in the Bus Transit Sector, or equivalent, including project and account management
- High school diploma/equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Experience using a CRM preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office applications skills

AGE Solutions is seeking an Audio-Visual Command Meeting (AVCM) Engineer. In this role, you will travel within their assigned zone to support Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military Officer conference and meeting spaces. This role provides installation, troubleshooting, and sustainment support for enterprise audio-visual systems and will augment support to other zones as required. The ideal candidate is a hands-on AV professional with strong technical expertise, the ability to lead AV efforts on-site, and experience working in classified environments.
This position is based out of Tracy, CA with regional CONUS travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel within assigned zone and provide augmentation support to other zones as needed
- Support SES and Military Officer conference and meeting spaces
- Install, pull, terminate, label, and test all AV-related cables, connectors, and interfaces
- Install projection screens, plasma/LED displays, speakers, and related AV hardware
- Perform installation of AV systems at client sites, including full room deployments
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
- Wire and build AV racks to standard and customer specifications
- Serve as the Lead Audio Visual Engineer on projects and customer engagements
- Manage AV projects across various models and makes of equipment
- Conduct testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on systems, networks, hardware, and software
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of AV wiring standards and connector types across AV cable types
- Support internet-based video solutions including switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design solutions
- Access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS installation and troubleshooting of system hardware (user account not required)
Required Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience with AV engineering
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance at a minimum
- Have one (1) of the following certifications:
- AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, or
- Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification, or
- AVIXA CTS Certification
- Ability to support mission-critical AV/VTC systems under pressure
- Demonstrated experience working with:
- Crestron
- Cisco
- Biamp / AMX
- Extron
- Willingness to travel throughout the zone as required
- Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and restore AV/VTC services
- Ability to follow escalation procedures and provide status updates and corrective action plans to leadership/PMO
- Experience using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) to document troubleshooting, actions taken, and resolution details
- Ability to provide routine ticket updates until closure and document root cause and resolution steps
- Ability to provide daily operational status reporting for non-operational rooms, including estimated restoration timelines
- Location: This position is onsite at our customer's location in Tracy, CA and requires up to 50% travel (CONUS).
