- Epic EMR experience preferred; virtual training available if needed
- Clean background and malpractice history
- Mandatory vaccines (flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases including general surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, and orthopedics
- Manage perioperative anesthesia care: pre-op assessment, intra-op management, and post-anesthesia recovery documentation
- Participate in rotating home call schedule with prompt call-back response (30–45 minutes)
- Document care accurately using Epic EMR and maintain complete perioperative records
- Collaborate with anesthesia techs, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with credentialing, privileging, and regulatory requirements for locum tenens assignments
