Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Pediatrics Physician Assistant for a 140-day assignment beginning May 4, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, focusing on general pediatrics, including chronic pain management and addressing behavioral health issues in pediatric patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general pediatric care to patients.
- Manage pediatric chronic pain cases.
- Treat behavioral health (anxiety) issues in pediatric patients.
- Implement Pediatric Chronic Care Management.
- Ensure chart closure within 72 hours.
- Maintain a schedule of 18 patients per day (PPD) minimum.
Additional Information
- Board Certification: Pediatrics
- EMR System: Epic
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar setting.
- Must have FQHC experience.
- Experience treating behavioral health (anxiety) issues in pediatric patients.
- Experience with Pediatric Chronic Care Management.
- Required: CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate.
- Required: Active DEA before the start date.
