Your responsibilities

The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for loading and unloading product that is shipped and/or received at the Central Distribution Center. As a Clamp Truck Operator, it will be your responsibility to follow and abide by all BSH and CDC rules and procedures to the best of your ability.

Safety:

• Safely operates industrial clamp/lift truck, manual pallet jacks, and other forms of materials handling equipment on the distribution floor.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk assures the shipment of parts in an orderly fashion, so the shipments arrive on time and in good condition according to customer demands.

• All cartons containing parts are to be stored/shipped in good condition.
• Parts are to be prepared for shipment per the shipping schedule using FIFO and according to the individual customer packaging instructions. If parts are not available for shipment at the designated time, it must be brought to the immediate attention of the Warehouse Supervisor/Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
• Transfer parts from warehouse to shipment staging. Ensure parts are scanned, wrapped and have master labels. Check dock codes as required per customer.

The Carowinds Merchandise Department focuses on offering a great shopping experience and we thrive on teaching Merchandising skill with setting up displays that everyone can enjoy and shop from. As part of the team, you'll create special memories for guests when you help find the perfect memento of their visit! You'll also:

• Demonstrate and sell merchandise to guests utilizing knowledge of products. 
• Conduct sales transactions on POS (point of sales) system.
• Display merchandise and suggest products to guests emphasizing key selling points or sales promotions. 
• Stock shelves, fixtures, gondolas, counters and racks with merchandise. Retrieve boxed merchandise from back storage areas to stock the sales floor.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace including cash wrap.
