Position Summary
The IT Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new monthly recurring revenue by identifying, engaging, and closing net‑new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a consultative, high‑energy sales professional who understands the value of managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and cloud transformation. The IT Sales Consultant will position the organization as a strategic business partner and guide prospects through a structured, insight‑driven sales process.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
• Prospect, qualify, and build a healthy pipeline within assigned territories and verticals
• Use industry insights to educate prospects on risks, gaps, and opportunities
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand business challenges, IT maturity, compliance needs, and operational drivers
• Tailor messaging and value propositions to executive‑level buyers (CFO, COO, CEO, IT leadership)
Sales Process Execution
• Develop proposals for managed services and project‑based solutions
• Lead proposal reviews and technical scoping sessions with internal engineering resources
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and CRM hygiene
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
• Qualify out low‑fit opportunities to maintain pipeline quality
Relationship Building
• Build credibility with financial and operational decision makers through professionalism and industry knowledge
• Cultivate long‑term relationships with prospects and referral partners
• Attend networking events, industry groups, and community organizations to expand reach
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and strong customer experience
Market & Industry Awareness
• Maintain a strong understanding of service offerings, pricing, and competitive differentiators
• Stay informed on MSP industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and compliance‑driven opportunities (HIPAA, CMMC, SEC, FTC Safeguards, etc.)
• Tailor messaging to vertical‑specific needs using established positioning frameworks
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue quotas
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Understanding of managed IT services, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365
• Experience using CRM systems
• Self‑motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing a full sales cycle independently
• Ability to build relationships with financial and operational stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling into industries such as healthcare, construction, financial services, legal, or government
• Familiarity with MSP operational models (NOC/SOC, ticketing, SLAs, QBRs/EBRs)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CMMC, NIST, CIS, SEC, FTC)
• Experience with Challenger, Solution Selling, or similar consultative methodologies

The position is responsible for aligning technological solutions with business strategies and working principally with DHS Global Delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides level 3 field support globally, including remote support and documentation.
* Partner with functional groups across the IT back-office organization to understand, communicate, and clarify business needs.
* Contribute to long-term system planning and ensure technology products and services align with evolving business strategies.
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical content development and review.
* Maintain awareness of customer issues and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience.
* Service Documentation-Redlines and/or develops service/ quality documents with assistance from senior professionals.
* Analyze and support of inventory management solution utilizing EDI messages (X12 and EDIFACT standards)
* Configure and support EDI messages and interfaces across multiple systems, including SAP, BizManager, and Seeburger, etc.
* Collaborate with EDI providers/vendors to set up new EDI accounts and support onboarding activities.
* Guide cross-functional teams in implementing required workflows changes and generating inventory-related reports to support end-to-end ordering workflow.
* Utilize Symphony/SAP or other supply chain ERP systems to review and interpret EDI orders (e.g., 850, 856, and other applicable EDI messages).
* Demonstrate working knowledge of systems used in the supply chain domain, including SAP, BizLink, TraceLink, SGTIN, TIBCO, and warehouse management systems.
* Work cross-functionally to drive and implement system changes required to support order fulfillment and supply chain operations.
* Support application-related issues and manage back-office escalations.
* Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of web and mobile applications.
* Manage deliverables assigned, which includes due dates, resources and time needed, etc, as a member of a project team.
* Ensure all work adheres to relevant Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
Qualification & Experience:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
* Experience installing, configuring, and supporting web and mobile applications, preferably within the diagnostic medical equipment servicing, or related service or laboratory field.
* Hands-on experience supporting EDI messages and integrations of workflows with enterprise systems such as SAP and other back-office platforms.
* Experience working with warehouse or supply chain ERP systems to support product ordering, shipping, and related operations, including the ability to interpret and troubleshoot key EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 856, and similar documents) & Solid knowledge of EDI standards, specifically X12 and EDIFACT.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
* Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
* Experience with EDI interface design and implementation
* Knowledge of SAP ERP functionality
* Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)
* Understanding of supply chain processes and system integrations

Summary: Atlanta Public Schools' Digital Bridge program provides 38,000 student devices, staff laptops, hotspots, and other district technology to ensure students can access digital resources and tools at both school and home.
The IT Service Delivery Systems and Projects Coordinator serves as the primary manager of iiQ for the IT Service Delivery and Student Experience Team, ensuring the system operates effectively to support device management and service delivery.
The position provides iiQ training for all Field Technicians including Lead Field Technicians, handles ticket escalations involving student Chromebook devices, staff laptops, hotspots, and other district technology, and monitors IT Service Delivery and Student Experience Tableau dashboards.
Additionally, this role manages special projects for the IT Service Delivery and Student Experience Group, collaborating with Field Technicians, IT Management, and other IT divisions.
The position also helps ensure efficient processes are in place for IT Service Delivery, IT Service Desk, and IT Asset Management.
