Core Responsibilities
- Sell life insurance and retirement products
- Develop leads
- Re-evaluate customer needs on an annual basis
- Listen to members to understand their financial needs and ensure a smooth sales process
- Personally deliver death benefits to local families
- Maintain and grow member base
- Present flags and awards to local nonprofit organizations and individuals
- Support local chapters in community service and fundraising efforts
- Build lasting relationships with members and help them reach their financial goals
Qualifications
Being a sales representative requires a background that demonstrates the following minimum knowledge, skills, talents, and traits:
- Ability to obtain state insurance licenses (life, health, variable contracts) and satisfactorily pass a background check and/or insurance licensing verification
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
- Strong interpersonal, written communication, oral communication, and listening skills
- Ability to engage well with others and be passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience

Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Service Representative role located in Fayetteville, NC. The Sales Service Representative will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to promote and sell WoodmenLife products and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, managing accounts, responding to inquiries, and supporting clients in achieving their financial goals. The role also entails representing WoodmenLife in the local community and participating in outreach and volunteer initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in sales, account management, and client relations
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- A proactive approach to community outreach and volunteer activities
- Life insurance licenses or the ability to obtain required licensing in a timely manner
- Prior experience in sales or financial services is a plus
