Mayo Clinic Health System Gastroenterology includes locations across Minnesota and Wisconsin serving approximately 600,000 unique patients annually. Our Gastroenterology team collaborates across six locations to provide exceptional-quality specialty care to patients as an integrated Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology practice. Across Mayo Clinic Health System, we've performed approximately 31,000 Endoscopy procedures in 2024 and growing.

Our Southwestern Minnesota Mankato location has as an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist, to join our multi-specialty practice focusing on quality, outcomes, and compassion. The selected candidate would join an established group of up to 4 Gastroenterologists and 5 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants providing gastroenterology services in a physician-led, stable organization, committed to high quality patient care and satisfaction. We can support candidates who require visa assistance.

Based in the diverse patient needs, General Gastroenterology care will be required although practice is open to additional areas of interest. Areas of sub-specialty interest include motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas.

The practice includes a strong surgical, cancer, and radiology specialties who work collaboratively within the region and across Mayo Clinic to support the needs of our patients.

Mankato is a community setting with short commutes and easy access to larger cities such as Rochester, MN, or the Twin Cities. The SWMN regional practice provides more than 440,000 outpatient visits with 9,600 hospital admissions from southern Minnesota and northern central Iowa. The facility features a new hospital addition adding 121 additional beds opening in 2024.

Keesler Air Force Base In early January 1941, Biloxi city officials assembled a formal offer to invite the United States Army to build a base to support the World War II training buildup.

The War Department activated Army Air Corps Station No.

8, Aviation Mechanics School, Biloxi, Mississippi, on 12 June 1941.

On August 25, 1941, the base was dedicated as Keesler Army Airfield, in honor of 2d Lt Samuel Reeves Keesler, Jr., a Mississippi native and distinguished aerial observer, killed in action in France during the First World War.

Keesler AFB is one of the largest technical training wings in AETC, with four training squadrons located in the training building complex known as "the triangle, " the 334th, 335th, 336th, and the 338th.

On average, Keesler has 4,700 students on base at a time.

Much of the training they receive is in the field of electronics, such as wideband maintenance, ground radio, information technology, avionics, cryptography.

QUALIFICATIONS Be a graduate of a Masters of Nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Possess current unrestricted license to practice in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S.

Virgin Islands.

Possess current certification (in the specialty corresponding to the specialty required by the task order) as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Possess current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers.

Have minimum of 24 months (2 years) of full-time experience within the last 36 months (3 years) in a setting corresponding to the requirements.

Possess and maintain a current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number (certificate) to prescribe controlled substances as listed in 21 C.F.R.
