CMA I Required Minimum Training and Education: High school diploma or equivalent.  Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.

CMA Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:  Must be certified through American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association of Healthcare Professionals (NAHP), Medical Career Assessments (MedCA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Physical Requirements: Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. The Electro-Optics (EO) department is responsible for requirements decomposition, detailed design and production support of the EO Sensors/Seekers, including the detectors, cryogenic systems, and structures making up the sensor/seeker subsystems. The multi-disciplined department includes engineers that may be responsible for the following: Designing, modeling/analyzing, and verifying optical components within a sensor/seeker designing the structures that hold the optics, including any mechanisms needed to move optics, as well as the cryogenic systems used to cool and maintain the temperature of EO detectors. Relaying critical detector interface and performance requirements to detector suppliers and verifying requirements are met. Utilize many different engineering discipline skills to assemble, test and verify optical, electrical, and mechanical components as they are built up into the sensor/seeker subsystem

• Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) acts as part of the clinical operations team and is responsible for providing direct patient care in ChenMed/Jencare medical centers, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and home settings depending on the nature of the assignment or providing assessments to members in SNF and home settings.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to: geriatric assessment, medical history, physical exam, diagnosis and treatment, development of the nursing plan of care, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to ChenMed standards for quality, service, productivity and teamwork.

The Nurse Practitioner must demonstrate the ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals.

Consults with the manager, physician, and medical director to ensure compliance with guidelines.

This position may require participation in risk and quality management programs, clinical meetings and other meetings.The Nurse Practitioner will adhere to strict departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, regulatory compliance, quality patient care compliance, and policies and procedures.Functions independently as a certified nurse practitioner for a patient population in collaboration and consultation with a licensed patient care team physician.
